Any decent open source backup software for windows 2003?
webman replied to superatticman's topic in Windows Server 2000/2003
We used to use Cobian Backup on several Windows boxes. -
Cheers - already got that site bookmarked! Came across it while doing research on the car before buying - pretty decent site

I'm 25, and only after moving out of educational IT support can I actually afford my own car. So I recently bought a 2004 Skoda Fabia vRS 1.9 TDI with about 70,000 miles on it. Not new, but not quite a classic

Awesome! The East coast is full of gems like that - you're spoilt for choice

All the best DT2! Which area of Canada are you moving to?

That's awful! I hope you get her something nice. Perhaps a new bag and a belt... ... so the hoover can work so much better

The javscript to handle the showing of consumables on printer clicking is located in the same file quickadd.php, but at line 57. You could probably set the position of the #buttoncontainer DIV with javascript if you wanted to, after the buttons had been added.

Hi JMF, thanks for your comments about PrintMaster - I'm glad you find it useful Wow, yes, I can see how that is a bit of a problem for you, and a bit of a bad UI for that amount of printers. It'd certainly be possible to have the buttons appear in a modal dialog with some small tweaks, but that's not a quick "five-minute fix" or something I can do into in one forum post. Another solution that might be acceptable, would be to make the printer list a fixed height and scrollable. The code you have should already have an example of this. Line 27 of /views/home/quickadd.php You will notice this line: Remove the HTML comments so that the line looks like this: If you want it bigger, just increase the 300 value to something more suitable. Hope that's somewhat helpful to you. I have lots of ideas for PrintMaster, based on great feedback from the EduGeek community (so thanks for that!) - I'm disappointed that I just don't have enough free time to bring them to life in a decent amount of time.

Using Google Chrome, I find either of these two extensions rather good for generating passwords - quick to launch via toolbar buttons and simple to copy the generated password. Strong Password Generator: Quick Password:

Then you've signed up for too much rubbish or your filters aren't effective enough. I'm lucky if I receive 10 messages a day between personal and work. Even less that need actioning.

Interesting. Are you thinking what I'm thinking?

I've noticed that as well. Must be part of the PGCE

We get ground coffee at work for a cafetiere. We've had some coffee from a local shop in the market, but found Sainsbury's Fairtrade or Organic range is just as nice, if not nicer - So Organic Peruvian, Fairtrade Ethiopian Sidamo, and Fairtrade Colombian Coffee (in that order) The process for the AeroPress device looks like too much fuss

Yes, we have music on in the office all the time. It's handy that we all have a similar taste, but we do play a big variety. Usually it will be my 'Background' playlist on Spotify (Background by Craig A Rodway on Spotify) or something else mixed in with it, like War of the Worlds Sometimes we'll stick on some trance or Drum & Bass (more public Spotify playlists I share) as well.

It's interesting how people are seemingly only reading the part of the Google Drive ToS that they want to read. Right above the bit that everyone is focusing on, it says: My interpretation of the paragraph everyone is in uproar about, is that it is the necessary legalspeak that allows the technicalities of the service to be implemented to allow them to carry out the actions you request.

Would that be "Lionel Richtea"?

Because BT are like an onion. Many, MANY layers, and they make you cry.

I'm actually starting to feel a little sorry for Apple now.
webman replied to Dos_Box's topic in General Chat
I'm in favour of Apple losing some court battles, it's about time they did. If they go throwing their weight around, it's inevitable that they are going to get some of the same treatment in return. Apple haven't been as white as white lately. They play dirty in the courts. They have known about poor factory working conditions in their Chinese suppliers while at the same time announced massive profits. And most recently, it's emerged that there's a total lack of security around the iPhone address books - letting any app access and steal that data for any purpose without the user's knowledge. -
I'm sorry. I couldn't help correcting this other one someone shared on Facebook. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/41938/teachers.jpg

Not common knowledge to me. I'm not caught up to the latest season, so I generally avoid this sort of thing.

Please replace that huge spoiler in the thread title to spoiler alert.

We use Vidahost at work and I'm now using their Cloud package for all the personal sites I run as well. Good choice
