  1. We use Irfanview and an autofeed scanner to handle multiple invoices for SAPS. Seems to do the job.
  2. If it's out of warranty, it might be worth taking it apart and seeing what's wrong. Might just be a broken belt or gear.
  3. My grandaughter was on the local tv talking to the Queen and made her laugh. Trouble is, another girl's head was in the way and you could only see her ponytail. We knew who it was though. The kids I took to the cathedral throughly enjoyed themselves and were really close to Her Maj.
  4. I looked at uk.weather.com, which is usually quite good. Trouble is, Atlantic systems tend to be finger-waving exercised at the best of times. Still looks like showers when I go to see the Queen this afternoon.
  5. Just checked the forecast and next week is looking good.
  6. Another tip. When you decide to leave, plan it so as few others leave at the same time. The leaving fund doesn't have to stretch so far.
  7. Not only that - they misquoted. It should be "The wages of sin is death - but the hours are good."
  8. I noticed a defective 13A socket in our concourse. I notified the Site Manager and stuck a big sticky label over the plug with DANGER DO NOT US written on it. Next day, the SM called me down to see it. There were three neat little rectangular holes punched through the label!
  9. Christ! I know Wallender is supposed to be depressed but at least in the Krister Henriksson versions, the supporting cast brightened it up a bit. Branagh has a finger in the production, so maybe he wanted terrible actors, to make him look better. I don't think it worked.
  10. Just type in your postcode. British Airways - Bring a plane down your street
  11. Nudemen Clock - Francis Lam
  12. Bog-house door off a Grimsby trawler in mine.
  13. Is "flicked" some Aussie euphemism?
  14. They showed a guy using one on a lake as the Tour de France went by. He was tethered to a jet boat and didn't seem to be getting very high in the air.
  15. Bit like Tsonga's when Murry hit him in the cobblers yesterday. He should play that shot more often, guaranteed winner.
  16. Despite it chucking it down here, I was glad to see blue slies at Wimbledon and a result. I bet they're glad they got a roof.
  17. If it's in the hall, you could put fairy lights on it and make it a feature
  18. It melted my wife's kindle! I did hear a far worse joke that I'm not going to tell here.
  19. Non stop heavy rain here for the last 5 hours and no sign of it letting up. I think some staff will struggle to get home. Any flooding in your neck of the woods?
  20. I don't play games much but solitaire helps to relieve the boredom during advert breaks and waiting in the dentists!
  21. You lucky so and so.
  22. Done and dusted.
  23. Kirk out!
  24. If you have an ERA licence and the videos are recordings of BBC/ITV programmes, then you should be ok. Otherwise, there's a good chance that you are infringing someone's copyright. Unless we can prove that there is no copyright violation, I refuse to do it.
