  1. These windscreen people who set up in the supermarket carparks and fix the cracks for free, there must be a catch? I can only think that they tell a good percentage that they cannot fix it with the araldite and they'll need a new windscreen.
  2. I wish I'd known that was allowed. I bought a bike so I could wear them.
  3. I've done that when I can't be bothered to lift the mouse.
  4. Oh, that didn't show up in New Posts. But I mentioned the motorbike stuff as well I believe from talking to bikers that some of the clothing is very good value.
  5. If a screen has been rotated and logged off so you need to log back on to put it back, then rotating the mouse makes it easier to position the cursor. I heard a story about a tech support guy being called because the cursor hadn't reached its destination and the mouse was at the edge of the mouse mat.
  6. ALDI - Sunday Special Buys 10th March 2013 Also Motorbike stuff.
  7. We are in the process of upgrading a load of computers and laptops, including three Viglen Omnino. As these a built like a proverbial brick toilet, I was wondering about replacing the innards. They are used in the admin dept so only run SIMS and MS Office. Has anyone else done this?
  8. We have classes going in for 20 minute sessions. Every one has come and complained that they are getting a "Server Busy" message. It isn't my fault :sob:
  9. I got all excited because they are offering up to £100 cashback if you buy a Tosh laptop and return your old one. Then I read the conditions: It has to be less than 4 years old, in good nick and working with a psu. I don't think we have a computer in the school that qualifies.
  10. I just spied this in the second draft:
  11. Could you say where from please?
  12. Is that 110 (One hundred and ten)?
  13. It is located correctly, it might just be my imagination. I'll check it on the garage door when I get home.
  14. Can just changing a headlight bulb affect the beam setting? I'm sure it looks a bit higher now. Guess I'll find out at the MOT.
  15. That's pretty mean, how long is your contract?
  16. Have you got a Smartphone? I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace from Carphone Whorehouse for £7.50 a month I get 500MB data, 250 minutes of calls and 5000 texts. For a quick check of emails etc. I just use the phone. For browsing I tether my notebook tothe phone, which is dead easy to do and works well.
  17. I've not heard back from the reseller yet but would you say that, as both the reseller an us have proof that we purchased the licences then that would suffice if we were ever asked to show them?
  18. Or not, in a lot of cases
  19. And keep you awake. Seriously, the motor equipment does kick in with a thump and could cause some EMI. I would have thought it was well suppressed but it might be worth voicing your concerns.
  20. What they also didn't tell you is that the building is in Alaska and the man in Ecuador
  21. You won't have to carry heavy equipment so far either.
  22. If the projector is up high, it might be worth connecting the laptop to a monitor first and getting that to work before climbing around the projector. Might be a bit more comfortable.
  23. Projector set to the wrong source?
