Palo Alto Networks will be running their first Cybersecurity Summit in London on the 21st March. It is free to attend. I wanted to let you all know, especially for those around London as this should be a great day. This day is for end-users only and provides a great opportunity to network with others and hear from some great speakers. Below is the outline of the session. The draw has been prepped. We're using a random name generator with a spin wheel to draw the winners. As each winner is drawn I will update the thread. Those that left your Edugeek handles will be easy to identify, I will use surnames for those that chose to remain annoymous. These winners will be contacted direct by email after the draw. Net-Ctrl will once again be exhibiting at BETT on stand C61. Each year we take a selection of our partners to the show. This year there is a concentration on our building security solutions that are able to integrate together to form an extremely flexible and advanced security solution. These technologies include wireless locks, access control, IP-CCTV and IP PoE audio speakers. These technologies have been very popular with a number of schools looking to form a secure lockdown solution for possible terror or threat scenarios. The systems have the ability to work together so a push of a button or click on a screen could send a site into lockdown mode immediately securing doors and gates and sending pre-recorded announcements around the buildings.
