The thing I struggle with when using websites etc to build your own is I don't know what is compatible with what. I just used the PCSpecialist one and picked an RTX 2060 video card. The PSU was a 350W. Surely it needs a beefier PSU doesn't it? My question isn't particularly "what PSU do I need for that card", it's more how do I know what works with what, or is there a picker out there which will only let you choose compatible stuff? Quick update - We didn't have the problem for the rest of the week on the devices we installed 2024.0.8.127 on. Over the half term I have rolled it out to the rest of my devices and will let you know how I go. Stone (where I purchased them from) found this version and have been very helpful. I am still awaiting any sort of suggestion at all from Lenovo themselves who I logged a ticket with about 5 weeks ago. So far all they have said is "There is no update on this yet", and closed my ticket once without telling me. I am never purchasing Lenovos again, but will happily purchase from Stone again. (This is not a sponsored post or anything, I stand to gain nothing from it, it is simply recognition where recognition is due)

I watched "Terminator: Dark Fate" for the first time a couple of nights ago, or "What Terminator 3 should have been". Thoroughly enjoyed it, although wasn't entirely convinced on the idea of a model 101 developing a conscience! Suppose as it is AI it could do? "And I'm really funny" made me laugh probably more than it should.

This is caused by having the option on for them to be able to reset their own password I believe.

I'd be interested in seeing this too if you can share it?

We have installed driver 2024.0.8.127 and the problem seems to have gone away.

Hi All, For some reason, every time a user goes to google, they need to accept the agreement. This even happens if they remain logged on, close the browser and re-open it. Happens in Chrome and Edge (the Chrome one). Any thoughts please? Stuart

I have just set up a second SSID with the same settings as my first one (apart from the actual name of the network of course!!) and if I have a device which won't pick up an IP, I can tell it to connect to the other network and it gets an IP immediately. I don't know exactly what this tells us or whether it's useful, but it's more information.

All are generally happy to provide a board for you to try out. We had seven different screens in for demoing. Try them out with your staff and see what they think. Promethean's seemed quite good. The boards themselves are all pretty much the same - large and tough - it's the software and features which differ. Ask them about software licensing too as some won't let you use their software on computers that aren't connected to the hardware without annoying messages popping up occasionally. I've used Genee in the past, but the company seems to have had a number of issues over the years so I'd avoid them now. Regards, Stuart

We were testing something in Teams with a class this morning and one of the students Rick-rolled the class. I was impressed someone of that age did it. I said to the teacher "None of them were born when that came out" to which she replied "Neither was I"........ That made me feel old.

Hiya, Despite using Teams since April, we still have some students where Teams "doesn't work", but when we look at their account it says they haven't tried to log in within the last 30 days. Can I run a report somewhere which will list all the accounts where they haven't attempted? Granted it could be because they have their username wrong, but I still need to know who hasn't logged in. Google-fu letting me down today..... Thank you Stuart

Having all sorts of issues with them, but not those issues. Mine won't pick up an IP from DHCP unless I remove the wireless card and re-install it. Then a few days later the same happens.

One answer to that is "How much are you prepared to lose?"

Try changing the default browser?
