You can't replace the keyboards yourself. An HP engineer has to do it and it costs over £300! It is part of the chassis. If you don't mind that, they are great little units. Stuart

As @3s-gtech says, use an extended display rather than duplicate, but if it's a member of staff who won't cope with that (always surprises me how many of these there are!!!) then I'd go with this;

Yes, agree with all of that, but what is the harm in asking what others do and getting a response of "We keep emails of students for three years and staff for five" or something?

This topic drifted very quickly. @Jobos has simply asked what other people do, not to start a debate about the whos, hows and wheres. This is something I am interested too. I have mailboxes still present for staff and students who left years ago as I simply don't know (and can't find out) how long I should keep them. There will always be a few variables, but can anyone offer a basic idea please?

24 Hours. It was just that they had the student licence allocated in the Microsoft 365 admin centre against their log on account.

If the students don't have chat, does that mean they can't talk directly with staff on a one-to-one?

So does that mean Students can start chats on Teams with people who aren't in your domain?

What do people do regarding the ability to contact external domains? We've currently got it blocked, but teachers are starting to want to have meetings with outside organisations on Teams. I don't really want to allow it as then the students can access external domains too. Do you allow all domains? Use black/whitelists? Block and tell staff "unlucky"? Thank you Stuart

We have a student who is hardly in school, and not particularly interested in working much at home who has changed their status to something inappropriate. As an Admin am I able to change it, or would I need to either get her to do it, or failing that reset her password and change it myself? Thank you Stuart

Not wishing to sound like someone who's never happy, but that's too much information! Sorry. You're input is appreciated, I promise. I like the layout of the first attempt as it is copy/pastable in to Excel to then manipulate. adding the " | fl" does indeed give the complete name which is what I was after, but the layout changes and is not so easy to play with. Morning all, I'm using the "Get-Teams" in powershell to try and find out which teams people are in. Two questions; Is there an easier way of finding out which teams someone is in? When it outputs the results, it truncates the team name to 15 characters. We have a few Teams where the "Set" bit is after character 15. Is there a way around this? Thank you Stuart

Nope, just told the head we couldn't do it without migrating everyone's email to the cloud. She's pretty switched on and realises how impractical that is.

Nevermind, apparently it's because we have on-site Exchange.

I've had a Google and I can find lots of people with a missing Meetings button and how to turn it on by turning on the options in here; As you can see, they are turned on. I didn't have to turn them on as they already were so it isn't a "You have to wait a while after you've done it" thing. This is in my Global policy which is assigned to my users. Any ideas why I can't see the Meeting button please? Thank you Stuart

Yesterday we had one file in an assignment in one team which some students couldn't open, but some could. Today we have a completely different file, in a completely different team, prepared by a different member of staff for a different subject which some kids can't open and some can. I see no pattern. All staff can access it fine. Attached are screenshots of the file, one is on an iPad and one is on a Windows laptop. Any suggestions? Stuart

Tried this and they got allocated "Office 365 A1 for Faculty" again once I'd logged them in. And I definitely didn't assign them a licence when setting up the account. I really don't want to have to call them It's hard work! Stuart
