About cragos1984

  1. Hey everyone, so during lockdown I got a bit bored and wanted a project. I started writing boozy ramblings about hangovers, drinks I hate, spirits I love and even the collososly mental cocktails from only fools and horses. I’ve put them in a blog so please humour me and read the first one about hidden bars.. if you don’t like it I won’t pester you to read the next. Each one comes with a video of me waffling and showing how to make a cocktail related to the subject. This week.... The Old Fashioned. Check out the what’s on the shelf section for more info on what’s to come next. Thanks x Instagram @enthusiasticboozer https://www.enthusiasticboozer.co.uk/blog

  4. Hi Guys I am just trying to change the default project location for visual studio as a standard when a student creates something new. Currently this is set locally when I ideally want it as their network area. Course they could change it manually but as i'm sure you're all only too aware some students just click save and it goes where it goes Thanks Craig
  5. Hi, was this all Legit in the end? I'm just looking at our archiving which is now with Vipre who took over. Got them asking me about past costs, when our contract ends etc like they haven't been passed any information at all

    Netwseeper

Hi all The renewal for our current web filter is coming up (Lightspeed) and while I like it we have had some client issues and are looking at alternatives. Has anyone got a review of netsweeper for me? My main concern with it is you cannot filter by OU or Room, which we really need as we are a 6th form college and art etc need access to certain sites some of the time, pinterest etc... but only in those rooms Any reccomendations or advice would be greately recieved. Thank you Craig
  7. Hi In our college we currently use Outlooks public folder for room bookings etc and are looking to move away from them whilst still wanting to have control over permissions etc. We would ideally like to use AD groups for permissions and be able to pull across our Corero room calendars at the start of the year although I appreciate this may not be possible without a bespoke system. Does anyone use anything for this kind of thing that they would recommend? I assume college will be willing to spend money but given the current climate this might not be a huge amount Any help would be great Thanks
  8. Thanks very much I will try editing that for what I need. Much appreciated
  9. That's just what im after ideally. Not got a copy of said script handy have you? Not a problem if not
  10. Yeah I get that. I am trying to make it as easy as possible for staff to do this though which is with an invite and a simple one click for them. The harder we make it the more problems it will cause me down the line
  11. This will either be a really easy one or totally impossible I think but going to ask it anyway. I have a calendar group within outlook that I want to share with multiple users, I can send an invite to each individual calendar no problem but not the group. Is it possible to do this? I don't really want to spam people with 20 different calendar requests Thanks Craig
  12. This all worked perfectly thanks guys
  13. Fusemail Archiving. Saves space and takes pst corruptions out of the equation, really quick and easy to access all historic email
  14. That time of year again time for mock exams! Has anyone managed to disable spellcheck for a single exam user yet in Word 2016 please? Our previous system for Word 2010 will no longer work.
  15. We've got exams coming up and used to be able to do this fine using a small CMD prompt led program. But since we installed office 2016 this no longer has the desired effect. Does anyone do this and if so what is your solution? Help as always much appreciated
