We are a SIMS user and so far have had iSAMS and Engage come and present to us. We will have ESS present this Friday and will then decide on our future MIS. Personally, I would eliminate iSAMS and make the final consideration between Engage and SIMS 8.

We are a 365 school and issue 10th gen Apple iPads to junior students (school owned), while senior students purchase their iPads via an Academia portal (parent owned). Academia sell us the iPads for juniors and run the portal for senior purchases. Portal money does not come through us, which keeps our Financial Controller happy. We are introducing a BYOD scheme for sixth formers later this year as they have said they would prefer to use a laptop for A-level and university studies. I can't blame them!

Started off telling them to go away and then tried ordering them to remove my number from their list. Nothing has worked so far. I've been blocking each number (17) from a dozen states so far. Either they'll run out of numbers or run out of states, I don't care which.

Undercover, a gritty Belgian/Dutch production. After watching the 1st series and now onto the 2nd, I can recommend this crime thriller which has some really dark moments and features superb ensemble acting. On Netflix.

Alternatively, look at cloud-to-cloud 365 backup so that you're not constantly burning your internet bandwidth. We use Barracuda 365 backup which gives us daily increments and is easy to restore down to an individual file inside a Team, OneDrive or SharePoint repository. We've used it in anger about half a dozen times now.

We use RDP with MFA and also account locking after three bad tries. I don't want to use RDP but we have to until we make a decision on MIS within the 3 years we have on the ESS SIMS contract. Teachers only grizzle about the account locking, but I won't be moved on it.

You should be able to boot a Windows bootable USB (like a recovery drive) and reinstall the OS?
