  1. We don't notify users of anything......... and have; No auto-restart with logged on users for scheduled automatic updates installations Enabled and Allow Automatic Updates immediate installation Enabled (this installs updates that don't need restarts) also Turn off auto-restart for updates during active hours Enabled
  2. You mention laptops...... we have this issue with the odd wifi windows based laptop (we have Chromebooks mainly)..... We find the Windows laptops aren't "on" long enough to get everything they need from WSUS. We have a set time we download and install our updates from wsus. I'm happy to post our wsus/windows updates GPO if any good to you? Our cable connected machines are all 99% upto date. But these have a permanent cable connection. We also ask staff to leave machines on at the end of the day, as our classroom management software (ABtutor) shuts everything down at a set time and applies any pending windows updates.
  3. I have 2 stadia controller and 2 chromecast ultras. I play cyberpunk 2077 allot. I can't fault it

  8. We tried this once, worked fine..... but it plained text the username & passwords in task manager!
  9. Any Chance there's going to be a Tesla Model 3 in the box covered in VeryPC and Intel stickers?
  10. That's great, thought as much! Thanks Did you create your holding OU or did you let bromcom do it? Out of curiosity, what does it name it? ta
  11. Dont say that! we're moving from SIMs to Bromcom because its stuck in the 90s! Bromcoms development "seems" alot faster
  12. Hopefully this will be integrated within bromcom in the future and be truly web browser based.
  13. Hi all, just reading some papers with regards to the Bromcom integration. Just looking at the Google user provisioning section for both staff & students. Staff is fine, staff exist in the same OU in AD/Google. Students however are in a sub OU of "Students" 2021,2020,2019 etc. Bromcom only allows you to define one OU for students. How are you guys doing this with your student integration? I was thinking of having a "holding" OU for student accounts..... just thought i'd ask on here to see if anybody is doing it differently or maybe i'm missing something? cheers
  14. I couldn't control this. We stopped buying "replacements" staff were worse than students tho. Wait until the students figure out they can download the projector IR app to their phones. I was shocked to find that a student had a samsung phone with a IR blaster on it..... i once had a casio watch with an IR blaster at high school....... fun times We now have touch screen with the IR disabled for the same reason. Thankfully there's a screen freeze option on the menu. So no remotes. We once had a whole teacher desk moved because it had a remote securely locked to the desk!
  15. Yep i've seen this..... we were directed to this at the point of demo. Cunninghams is listed as a partner so we thought happy days. But it doesn't tie in with MCAS. I've also had a reply from my project manager saying here's a list of partners, with the same link you have provided...... i've emailed back to say that cunninghams doesn't fully integrate.... just MIS data, not payments. I replied to the email last night and asked for a list of cashless catering partners that fully integrate with bromcom, inclusive of MCAS. Hopefully i'll get a response soon. It's looking like we'll have to change our cashless supplier if we want to fully integrate with Bromcom's MCAS.
  16. Hi Bromcom_Support Are you able to provide a list of fully supported cashless catering systems that fully integrate to MCAS? I've emailed my Project manager a couple of days ago with this question, but am yet to get a response. thanks
  17. We use Google here. So we use Google apps and have a "Tech Central" (Google Sites) where all our systems and documentation is accessible. by the "IT admin" members. we also have links from "Tech Central" to a It admin team/shared drive for things like switch configs etc
  18. i'm in the teachers classroom group. not sure if its a cal or classmeet
  19. As a super admin, i dont have the ability to access "quick access" after entering the Google meet
  20. This is the host ending the meeting rather than the admin ending it from the Admin panel.
  21. Do you have a link to the source please? thanks
  22. Am i right in thinking that Google "Admins" have the ability to end a Google Meet via https://meet.google.com/tools/quality/admin? I thought i'd read this somewhere but i don't seem to have that option as admin. Can't find it in the Google blogs. Anybody want to tell me i made that up?
  23. Thanks for this. Looks like we will need to change our cashless system to integrate fully..... If started a new post on this.... thanks again for your input
  24. Hi all, Sorry for another "Bromcom post" We're migrating to Bromcom from Capita and have identified that our cunninghams system won't fully integrate with Bromcom and it's MCAS (MyChildAtSchool) payments system. We would need to use a standalone payments system separate from bromcom. The head wants a fully integrated system so we don't have x number of third party systems, parents (and staff) are expected to sign up to. So my question to all of you using Bromcom, along with it's MCAS payments system. Which Cashless catering system are you using and how have you found them? Thanks in advance
