I am in the process of looking at cloud backup services. Can I ask what do you guys backup to cloud backup? And how much you have backed up? E.g. 1TB E.g. Just sims database, all staff documents but not student documents, do shared drives get included? Trying to cost out the options.

I have trialled Senso and love the way it is going. Would love to sign up now but having purchased a perpetual licence for Impero 11 months ago there is no way my bursar will let me switch after spending that much on impero. Just wish Senso had been an option More than happy to use it for free, if anyone is listening

Me too Really wanted to test it asap to trial it against IAM cloud to see if it is a free option that works. Can't tell if it is designed for single-user comptuers or if it would be used on shared machines.

I have been trying to access the self certification report for Google on the DfE link they recommended in the webinar but it just keeps taking me to my google 'My Account' section. Am I missing something? All the other suppliers seem to link to the same form but filled out for their company. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/cloud-software-services-and-the-data-protection-act Basically after google's report.

Is anyone else experiencing issues with their lightspeed filtering this morning? We had all users getting asked to log in via a captive portal this morning regardless of the fact they have the user agent installed. Now users are getting other users filtering! e.g. teacher logs in tries to go on youtube and it says it is blocked and logs the visit against a random student in the school and vice versa. To say the least this is frustrating for teachers trying to run lessons but also a big safeguarding issue as I currently cannot keep track of who is going on what!

Can I ask what size school you are and how many users you have? Thanks

Haha wouldn't say awake as this has been bugging me for days now! I downloaded letsencrypt-win-simple.V1.9.3 and run the letsencrypt.exe In the back on my mind I think its something to do with the way I have the website setup with not being able to get to that folder. I tried putting just a dummy index.html in the wwwroot folder and that wont load either e.g. hap.schoolwebsite.co.uk/index.html

Could this still eb an issue if access to HAP is working fine? Just not this folder.

Just keep getting the "This site can't be reached, ERR_Connection_timed_out It is picking the folder up in IIS just not letting me get to in via a browser

We are having a problem trying to import some powerpoint files into smart notebook. When we try to import it, it comes up with an error saying "Install Visual Basic for Applications". We have checked and that is already installed. Anyone any ideas? Cheers

I have a website running in IIS fine. The site is in its own folder in the wwwroot directory. (wwwroot\website) When i try add a file into the root e.g. wwwroot\index.html it will not open that file in a web browser. Any ideas or pointers as to what this could be? thanks

Thanks for the suggestions. Having a play with lets encrypt. I keep getting an authorisation error at the moment when it tries to contact the .well-known folder. Any ideas why this could be? Thanks

I have always used startcom for my ssl certificates for hap but not google do not trust them when i need to renew it next week it is an issue. Anyone recommend a new certificate supplier free or cheap? Also is there a specific type I need to get so it works with HAP? Cheers

Looking on these forums I see there may be a way to get sims on a schedule to run a report and export it to a .csv file to a drive. Can anyone point me in the right direction? or a guide? Totally new to sims really but trying to create something. Thanks
