  2. That is the same of any patch management software. If software has it owns update in it do not know of any third party patch man software that does that ... However you can use Impero to sort this issue. If config file send then use Impero to send it to all machines or reg key use remote command prompt to send it to all the machine. Russ
  3. If want to shut-down machines with no one logged in just create a group using the no user logged in membership critera. Then have a group with all machines not logged in and set schedule against that machine. Russell
  4. The Vmware issue was something very specific with VMWare and not virtualbox. First thing is make sure that rename your main adapter to have word Impero in it (we look for that first), restart Client service and see how things perform. Russ
  5. I will get one of my team to confirm everything and I will post back. Russell
  6. Hi The first thing I would check is firewalls and routing make sure that got ports open and routes correctly. Also if got multi adapters on your machines rename the main adapter to include name Impero in it (helps with connection finding). See this article Impero - Network and Lab Management Software on correct firewall ports etc If want I can get support tech to remote in and see if we can do anything.. In IRM we rewrote the remote control and routing completely and so got some very fancy tech going on to help with complex network situations.. Russell
  7. All the cool kids use Impero... Russell

  10. As DB says taking this offline is best as we don't want to violate the rules etc. It is fairly easy to find contact details for me if want to talk to me direct or as DB says contact details on the Impero website.

Learning Manager which is classroom management and e-safety Announced last week Impero Check in which is a power man service around the v4 power man We also have other modules being released however that will use the 'new platform' (same one that IRM uses) Hope that helps. p.s If mods feel I am breaking rules (trying to answer the direct question only) then feel free to remove middle part. p.p.s @VeryPC As this is your forum and trying not to 'advertise' on it but answer a direct question. Let me know if got any problems with post etc will remove it .
  12. Right as per the direct post above (Yes we feel we are replacement for Securus and also offer a lot more as well. If want direct comparison of securus vrs Impero then Sally one of our product managers/e-safety officer is best person to speak to as she use to work for Securus. Russell
  13. Have got something Securus vs impero but sadly as db said if posted I would violate the rules..
  14. In terms of lists I point you my recent blog post - Seven Questions You Need To Ask Your E-Safety Lists Provider.
  15. Check group priority as machines are probably in a group which has it turned on. If right click a machine a properties and then choose 'Resultant Set of Settings and can see for groups you have access to. Also check console access rights to make sure you have access to every group etc. Russell

  18. It is called Mcroexpressions originally found in study in 60's but then expanded and made 'famous' by Paul Ekman and TV series Lie To Me. While the TV series was fictional and lot principles are the same. Microexpressions do not cover just eye but whole face but prinicples are the same. If interested in this kind of thing and the Ekman books are not a bad read... By the way my score was 29.
  19. Can say I did see the post and made sure we passed it on to right people. My fault for not replying direct...

  23. The new lists we announced early in the year can be got via support (or send me a PM with school details and I will sort) and we update those lists often based on feedback/own research etc/working with partner schools etc. As for numbers thanks this article comes from a massive number of months of hard work by the whole company. Russell
