I saw the video last night and I loaded it up last night, went to start and got 37'd a lot, (Seems blizzard couldnt be bothered implementing a queue system for this game a la wow), eventually logged in, made a barbarian and started playing, got to about level 3 and then it logged me out of the game to the screen, server wouldnt log me back in for about 15 minutes. Then I managed to log back in, took about 10 minutes after authenticating to the character screen, to get told then that I couldnt go back into the world, because I was basically in a party with Leah, an NPC for a quest, I couldnt select any different quests and every option basically was a no for playing diablo 3, logged out again in frustration, had my tea, came back and logged in and went straight through, though the game had rolled back a fair bit on where it was. Didnt seem bad from the 30 mins I managed to play it in total, just seems blizz have mucked up a fair bit with it, making it a pseudo online game, it just doesnt need that part.

Despite not being a welsh speaker (I dropped welsh at year 9 when I was in school for German, something in the benefit of hindsight that was daft, considering I have no intention of ever going to or working in Germany). I am learning as an adult now via Cymraeg i Oedolion - Cymraeg i Oedolion | Welsh for Adults The school I work in supports me in learning Welsh (the immersion of the environment, is very good for picking up the vocabulary)and the class is not expensive - £100 for a years lessons on the intensive course(2 hours 2 nights a week), which the school reimburse me for, I am nearing the end of year one now, I estimate it will take about 3 years to get up to fluency where I work.

I was just too knackered last night to play the game, ended up going to bed early, the whole micro transaction/revenue thing is massive these days in these MMO games too, which is why blizz put it in a new game rather than retroactively add it into running games (Their previous stances with wow, imo make it very awkward to add in direct game rewards, everything they have added so far for cash, has been vanity item related, I think it would cause uproar if they went down this avenue in wow, though knowing them, it will probably happen somewhere in the future) Hopefully ill be awake enough after my welsh class tonight to have a couple of hours on the game, should I be able to connect

I downloaded it last night, I have an annual pass for wow and get this for free too, whether ill be playing it straight away or not though is anyones guess, spent the weekend sorting out my main PC onto Linux, WoW is working fine on there, but whether wine will like this game off the blocks is anyones guess Looks to be quite an entertaining game.

Ebay is king for anything like that usually, failing the pound shop lol, had my hdmi and ethernet cables for the house from them, 5 meters cat5e for a £1, cant go wrong and theres nothing wrong with being a skinflint !

I never understood ever, why a friend of mine used to waste the cash when he bought stuff in currys/comet buying the "gold plated" cables they used to offer for stupid money, its always the same stuff as the ones I bought from a £1 shop, picture differences are never better or different on the end results.

not sure about knowing primaries that fit the no it suite, but theres a lot of well documented cases on here about the amount of work involved in maintaining and keeping laptops and the problems associated with them.

I agree they miss the point, targetting legitimate customers isnt the way forward, most legit customers get that message.

have you considered recycled machines in your itsuite, I was a tiny bit sceptical at first but it turns out to be an excellent choice ? Most places give decent warranties and the machines work very well, school I work in has some dealings with ict-direct who are also on here, it works out £180 a base station for a decent specced base unit.

passwords and all possible important usernames is definitely on the list, esp for outside agencies like MS Licensing. Stockbook is also another one

dont know why their bothering, its not as though the "blocking" stopped anything at all with regards access to that particular site, its just paying lip service to the industry bodies crying afoul about "lost revenue"

I just downloaded generic intel PRO network card drivers from the website, ours show up as intel 82566 cards in the machines, the drivers will work on a multitude of intel network ports and cards, if your still stuck I can sort out getting the ones I use onto a website when im back in work if needs be.

update the NIC Drivers, if their older RM Ones you will find most prowin32 intel drivers work, doesnt have to be specific ones, as long as their PRO chipset ones we found a generic one works fine, (obviously check which ones are installed first), it gives you a better options screen than the default windows properties for the NIC, we found here that unless we installed them getting them to WOL wouldnt happen.

interesting website, normally im in bed about 11:30 on a "school" night apparently should be 12:15 optimally according to that website, will have to see if that works

we are also looking at x64 on our next build as a possibility, printers is definitely an issue, especially with our old brother printers that we have, we are looking to change our printer server over to a nice 2008r2 virtual server, but thats one for the holidays project wise, because of the downtime involved and switching over of pcounter onto the new machine. we have some older hardware on site too, which I dont know if it would cope with the 64 bit as well, drivers can be an issue for most things im finding on older hardware. My machine is x64 on site and it works well, GPOs can be quirky though also and WMI filters need to be looked at also when sorting your gpos as well.

I cant be the only one that thinks all this endless patent battling is gone way past the point of ridiculous now, I actually think worse of these companies for acting in this manner. Does make open source seem so much more attractive than the alternatives.

I was thinking similar here, streaming bbc r2 as I have been, even on low bandwidth version becomes unreliable around certain times of the day for us here because of network utilisation overall. Anyone bought the cheapest DAB radios off currys and comet ?

I changed from a HTC Desire myself to an iPhone 4S, dont regret it, iPhone is a very nice phone, better in some ways than the desire in that it doesnt stuggle or get limited by memory on how many apps you can run (at least ive not noticed any issues so far), battery life is decent enough, can be stretched a bit as well same as the desire if your active enough in turning things off when you dont need them - i.e. turn wireless off when your not around any points and 3G when your at home. 3G for me seems to be the big battery killer since I upgraded to 5.1 (leaving it on means the battery lasts about 24 hours before needing a charge, turning it on and off as needed means you can go a lot longer) Apps - like android it isnt bad, theres a wealth of good free and paid for apps, there are alternatives to most apps you take for granted on the android, (Google Navigate was pretty much the only one I had to do a search for an alternative so far) Comparatively for me, the iPhone is similar to android and both have areas where they can improve and areas which you prefer on the relevant os for doing the same tasks. Siri is quite fun on the iphone as well, makes for a fun experience also

I have used the disc companies tools on a couple of them before to write zeros to the disks, takes a good while but in effect I think it just fills the drive with zero's, that being said, when its been smashy time, hammer and screwdriver/chisel as needed - powerdrill can come in handy too for going through the platens.

Apologies for raising a very old thread here, I really dont normally do this, but this has thrown up a possible answer to a fiddly problem were having at the moment and I want to know if what I propose is achievable :- SELECT * FROM Win32_OperatingSystem WHERE Version = '6.1%' AND ProductType = '1' AND ( OSArchitecture="32-bit" OR OSArchitecture="64-bit" ) Basically, we are now looking at Windows 7 64 bit in the school that I work in and we are finding that our GPOs arent applying to the 64 bit clients, this is because of the existing 32 bit only filtering in place, so I am obviously trying to create a WMI filter to allow us to include the 64 bit machines into the fray, would the WMI filter that I have put above work ? (I got it off an existing 64 bit WMI filter in our forest and wanted to know if what I have altered in here is going to get the results we want. or can anyone help guide me in the right path if possible ?
