Hello, We have had a couple of instances where people have turned off the WIFI and forgotten their passcodes. As a result we can't unlock the iPads easily. I am wondering if there is an inTune policy to stop them from turning off the WIFI please? Thanks

Using DHCP options isn’t supported and causes issues. You should use IP Helpers on your core switch.

These servers where released over 10 years ago. I wouldn't be majorly surprised if drives are failing. They are moving parts and do have a shelf life.

Your WIFI should only have 1 subnet. How have you setup all those scopes? Have you assigned them to different VLANS?

The AC Lite and AC Pros have had DHCP issues. Fixed with a firmware update. One thing to check - do you have enough IP address available in your pool? Posting the Chromebook model number might be useful.

I’m curious to know what you guys favourite and worse movie is? For me I think my favourite is Goldeneye. It’s the movie that got me into the the franchise and I enjoyed the storyline. Sky fall is a second. I quite like the “back to basic” element. The worst for me has got to be Die Another Day. It was just too unbelievable. “Invisible” cars and laser satellites don’t do it for me. I haven’t seen them all. It is on my to do list. When COVID hit was going to do it but we never had the tight restrictions so I didn’t get the free time I thought I would have.

The idea of a cloud solution is so it can work on different platforms. Microsoft or Google (or other vendors) don’t produce devices that compare to an iPad. Let’s face it the Microsoft surface isn’t a good laptop nor a good tablet. They are expensive and the battery doesn’t a last a full day. Windows still doesn’t provide a good touch screen experience. It’s average at best.

I don’t really get what you mean? They work fine with both G Suite and Office 365.

I really don’t see the issue with iPads. We manage a fleet of them across the country. Once they are setup you don’t really need to do anything with them. Updates, apps, settings etc can all pushed centrally.
