I used to like NRS and I always found to support ok, but now Civica have taken over the support is S@%#. I do not have any good words for civica. They are forcing an expensive upgrade. If I could change now I would. They moan about where we have tills and are trying to dictate where they should be. [emoji34] This year will be spent looking for an alternative. #rant over#

What about the use of the windows operating system and office software. Would you not be breaking the Microsoft licensing agreement?

Hi, Could someone clarify Personal liability in respect to GDPR. So school has appropriate policies in place and that teachers were aware of and signed upto. Teacher X then makes a faux pas causing a breach which needs to be reported to ICO. My initial understanding was that the school could be fined and that the teacher also had personal liability and cloud be fined by the ICO. We are looking at outsourcing the DPO role and a couple of companies have said that their is no personal liability. So should teacher X leave a load of SIMS reports on a train the school could be fined but not the teacher. Although the teacher would be dealt with by the school. Any thoughts Cheers

I know this is an old thread. I’m 3 weeks into dumping WIN 10 as my main OS, I wish I had done it a long time ago! Just curious if any of you bother joining your linux machine to the windows domain? Cheers

Using Outlook 2016 desktop client. Just tried again. My view attached, desktop client of left of image, web version is right. Also attached the timezone form the webversion Also some success. On the client i saved the calendar as an ICS file then went the web calendar and imported the ics. this seemed to do the trick

Yep defo matching timezones, Tried creating a standard mail box and doing the import, same result is all day events show as 2 days

We use office 365. I have setup a shared mailbox so the calendar can easily be shared. The time zone is set to UK, London The admin of the calendar is using the full outlook client and can see the shared calendar. The time zone on the PC with the Outlook client is set to UK. When the admin imports the year’s calendar events from a csv it all seems to work correctly. All the imported events display correctly including ‘All Day’ events. But… When the calendar is viewed in outlook web the ‘All day’ events display as two days. We have repeated this serval times, in serval newly created shared mailbox calendars. Anyone else come across this? Cheers

This software is good, Bulk Rename Utility. You should be able to select the 400 and rename them I'm currently working my way through 36000 personal photos, renaming them with 'date taken'

Just finished a 5 day course of steroids. Foot has come back a bit, still can't drive. The steroids have caused much embarrassment. Things happen in the trouser department spontaneously, not the best to deal with in a schools They are starting me on Aubagio soon. I stopped reading the side effects when it got to Aubagio deaths. Now looking forward to having blood drained every two weeks for 6 months. All good fun !

I swapped from an iPhone about 18 months ago to a Moto G6 and love it. Phone area very personal thing. It was 145 quid. I'm not the most carefull and it's suffered a couple of big drops with no damage. As my little one started secondary school I got them the same phone. They love them after having my of cast iPhones. My wife has also made the move to a Moto. Again she now loves it. Motos just seem robust, capable and cheaper than most.

Just wondering if there are any other IT techs / network managers in here with MS. I was diagnosed in 2009 and have been Tickety-Boo up till a couple of weeks ago, apart from I couldn't walk much more than a couple of miles. About two weeks ago I've now developed drop foot so now struggling to walk beyond 20 m at the moment. Can't drive either at the moment. My work have been great lucky enough to have a lift in a building. Anyone else suffering?
