I have a Windows 2012 R2 Server that can ping other servers but won't allow me to browser to their shares via explorer : so if I put \\server\c$ - I get the standard Windows cannot find this check the spelling and try again! I can ping the other servers fine and I can browse to Windows 10 C drives - just seems to be affecting browsing to other servers. GPUPDATE is broken too - but suspect that's because it can't browse to other shares. Latest MS updates applied - Server is on WSUS OK. Tried a couple of reboots. Checked all automatic services are started. If I try to browse using IP address I get the same error message. I have another Windows 2012 R2 Server that is working fine. Both servers are on VMWare. Anyone able to offer any suggestions on what to look to troubleshoot?

Surely it's a matter of ventilation and change of air per hour - I'd feel totally safe in a marquee with all the walls rolled up, can't see that being much different to sitting at a picnic table if I'm honest.

Excuse my electrical ignorance but how is the fused spur wired in to the lead supplied with the panel? Do you have to chop the plug off and hard wire it in?

Hi, not explicitly... But : 10.*;*.local is in there. However your message prompted me to check the winhttp settings!

On the client I can use a browser to navigate to : http://fp8:8530/ There is no error so I presume it connects OK. If I try and false server eg: http://xxx:8530/ then it does fail.

Tried this: - shot in the dark... If this client comes from an OS image and Sysprep wasn’t run then the issue may be that multiple clients are using the same SUSClientID key. Check HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WIndowsUpdate and delete the current SUSClientID. Run wuauclt /resetauthorization /detectnow from an elevated command prompt. No change

New WSUS server created last week. I've now got all our Servers checked in and at 100% - great. However my Windows 10 clients are struggling for some reason - I've only had about 40 check in with the new server :/ Clients appear to pick up the edited WSUS policy and the server name is in the registry OK. But when they attempt to check for updates they give this error: Wondered the best way to troubleshoot this?

My first after work (jab that is) What proportion of people suffer hardly any side effects? I don't normally get ill with flu or colds etc - or if I do it's so mild or quick they don't really stop me doing anything! Fingers crossed I'm the same with this but wondered if the side effects were felt by most?
