GPO > Software> Properties the MSI > Deployment tab > Advanced > Check the "Ignore language" box. Cracked it -- but why is this so???

Over the years I've created many GPO's to push out MSI's and rarely do I encounter an issue. However with myViewBoard software (Whiteboard) I'm tearing my hair out. The download link to their free software is : https://dl.myviewboard.com/latest?msi_64&202010 If anyone has 5 minutes to knock up an MSI and tell me if they can get it pushed out I'd really appreciate it. Or, any good advice on how to troubleshoot? Logs to check for errors or the right bit of event viewer to check out? Many thanks.

How long did that take??? We've got over 800 PC's and I just don't see how we can upgrade / reimage them all in 5 weeks and take leave! and do all the other jobs!

Mine is still being accessed a couple of times a week by the Data Manager!

For those who have moved away from SIMS. How long did you keep your SIMS Server running for? Our is still running even though we moved to Bromcom last Summer (2020)

Has anyone managed to follow the guide to create the custom MSI's for myViewBoard ? Trying to follow this guide: https://wiki.myviewboard.com/MyViewBoard_deployment After Orca opens, click Transform > New Transform. On the left panel, click Property. On the right panel, locate and update the ORGANIZATION value to the preferred entity name. I don't have an ORGANIZATION value :/

AFAIK there is no way to see the new students in iDStore until they are officially added in Bromcom to roll. This means they can't sync to iDStore which means we cannot allocate the new students a cashless catering card until at least day 2 of their attendance at the school. Unless there is a magic way around this? Cheers

If I hotspot off my phone it works so something on SWGfL/RM side is blocking the connection

When I try to create the custom deployment I cannot even get passed the sign in screen On-site smoothwall proxy bypassed and just going straight out via SWGfL proxy.

Any news on the Browser version of e-Timetabler ?

Just purchased a site licence for Corel which includes the following packages: CorelDRAWGraphicsSuite2021 Corel_Painter_2022 Paint Shop Pro 2021 VideoStudio2020_Lite Corel_PDF_Fusion AfterShot3HDR & PhotoZoom_Pro_4_Setup All great and all install fine. When we run some apps, eg Corel Draw you can skip the sign in. But when we attempt to open Corel Painter... No such skip option. Surely they don't' expect all the students to create accounts? Raised a support call with Corel and explained the issue twice and this is there BEST reply so far! Thank you for getting back to us. Are you getting any error message or prompt ? We're in a shootout between Viewsonic and Clevertouch and the Clevertouch model under consideration is the M-series. Staff saw both vendors last night and are giving feedback today, I have a new block of 4 classrooms in which we hope to get them all kitted out with one or the other in the next few weeks. We're in Cheltenham if you fancied a visit.
