I'm looking at the Public Folders option. I have to type the name for the public folder mailbox! Is this something that can be changed as it's not clear where this will show... What would be a good choice of name for the public folder mailbox? The name of the School? Public_name of school ?

Hi there, Been asked to investigate the use of a shared school calendar, we're an Office 365 school with a hybrid Exchange setup. Any tips for a setup to push a shared calendar out to all staff, that would be inaccessible and hidden from students?

Are the additional features not more useful to the staff? We only install to our Teacher PC's, so the number of different logons is limited.

I've been trying to get this to work Seems to install to APPDATA so when I install it it's no good for the teacher. Tried copying the installed folder to a network location but that seems to have limited success, sometimes the program opens sometimes it does n't. It's now saying there is an upgrade Installed again on my PC, created a new network shared folder. Teacher runs that EXE and it's still saying she needs an upgrade - sigh.

What a farce that you should have to do that for just one piece of software!!

It appears the second time she runs it it gets further - now our AppLocker policies are blocking it from running!!!

I'm struggling to even get the software installed. Procedure is : Log on to the Data Managers PC with admin rights and signed in to Bromcom. Instal the e-timetabler software and copy the created shortcuts to her home drive. But when she then logs in to use the software it's failing with an error. Looking at the log file, it would appear that this is local user permission issue to the location "\\fp4\DESKTOPS\10Staff64Edu\StartMenu\Programs\Programs\Bromcom Computers Plc\e-Timetable". Our desktops and start menus are locked down so standard users cannot write to them - so how do I get the software to run?

Hi, thread revival, but we recently had a demo of the BenQ and wondered if you were still happy with the RM model and BenQ as a whole? There seemed to be lots of talk of "things in development" - I guess that's both good and bad, good they are developing things and bad that the thing we might buy feels not quite "finished".

In designing the data points in a new 4-classroom block I was going to spec. single data points for the AP's. But given that this building may be around 10-20 years time, would you put in double data adjacent to each AP?

I have a Windows 2019 Server acting as both WDS and MDT and we've been successfully rolling out Windows 10 out this way, firstly LTSB 1607 and more recently 1909. A while back I tried to update our task sequence so we could deploy 20H2 and I ran in to nothing but issues. Now I've got a bit of time I'd like to solve the issue and get a working WDS / MDT deployment for 20H2. Is it possible to keep my existing setup running so the technicians can keep imaging new machines at the same time I deploy and test a new setup? Can the same network have multiple WDS / MDT Servers? Any thoughts, tips or advice welcome.

We also use MDT (with WDS) and when I tried to put the new 20H2 WIM on my server for deployment I just could not get it to work, deployment server is running Server 2019. I'm considering building a new deployment server in the summer, not sure if I can have two on the same network? Presumably. For those who push out 20H2 via WSUS, how do you manage this with school PC's constantly being turned on and off during the day or do you plan these upgrades during holidays?

Next time we get an occurrence of the issue I'll get the techies to check the state of this advanced setting. Is this something that can be changed via group policy?
