Personally I would lean toward something like: Using Hyper-V: unless you really, *really* want those extra VMWare feaures you will save a ton of cash that can be spent elsewhere. No SAN x2 servers specced to cope with your entire VM count with replication between them. Veeam to backup.

Got to agree with above, no need to replace that spec, you will be fine with win 10. Again, an SSD upgrade would be a great investment. Personally I think 120gb is a good balance of price and space. And I wouldn’t be that concerned about RAM upgrade, I mean more is always nice but if you are strapped for cash I think that the SSD is your priority.

1) Sounds like bunkem to me. Reading clocks is still part of the primary curriculum and all our school clocks are analogue and the kids seem to cope. 2) Why the ire? I fail to understand why reading that teenagers struggle with clocks prompts people to run to a keyboard to bash out and expletive strewn, doom laded post about how the world is going to Hell in a handcart and we'll soon be fighting each other for resources in a Max Max style post Apocalypse dystopia. I mean, its just clocks

Scenario 1 Member of staff responsible for FOI requests gets a FOI request asking for responses to be submitted at https://www.anunknownwebsite.com "Hey," they think "I'm not supposed to click unknown links due to our IT AUP, so this can be rejected due to safety concerns as confirmed by that recent ICO appeal ruling" Scenario 2 Member of staff responsible for FOI requests gets a FOI request asking for responses to be submitted at https://docs.google.com/someFOIform "Hey," they think "that's a Google Docs URL so its a reasonable assumption that its safe so I will collect the data and submit our responses as per our responsibilities via the FOIA"

Then I suggest you are expending your effort in the wrong direction. All that effort has been to produce and defend a system that resulted in an invalid request for data. It would have been more productive to listen to what people have been telling you, produce a valid request and expend your efforts in analysing the data. It suggests the finer point of the collection mechanism is more important the point behind the collection in the first place. I fear that you are now heading off in exactly the same direction that will result in the same destination. People are trying to help you here

PDF forms, for reasons outlined above, will mean we are going round in a circle and doesn't seem particularly productive. Anyone engaging in a large scale FOI request needs to be prepared to put in a bit of the legwork. Anyone who genuinely cares about the issue they are investigating would be prepared to put in the legwork.

I have to completely agree with @elsiegee40 - a member of my family is in this position, the legal title does not match the gender that they identify with and assumptions cannot be made on title or appearance.

Agreed. The ruling is clear and, as far as I know, there is no recourse to challenge the ruling. Endless debate is fruitless. How about we discuss and more constructive path to getting to a point where we are actually addressing the core point behind the FOI request?
