    Link2ICT have been given information and said they were aware of the problems we were having. They still suggested we update to the latest version, even with the issues!

    Most of the sound clips used here come from YouTube clips the kids have downloaded. Don't really mind them doing this as it stops them copying whole albums onto the network!

    Link2ICT were somewhat aware of this problem as it had been reported by other schools. They say they are working with Forensics to sort out a patch and will let schools know as soon as it's been resolved. If they knew this was a problem, why still advise schools to update? Ridiculous really.

    God damn! Thanks Jamin. This software has been nothing but hassle since we were told by Link2ICT to update from version 2.1.2.8 because of 'internet issues' Guess we'll be taking this off for now. Any idea when this will be fixed?

    I usually go Run > \\ComputerName\ and add the printer from there. However, sometimes unless the port is added on the actual machine, I can't add the printer.

    Anyone using Serco Facility ePortal and PCE version 3007 had issues? Now we've updated ePortal seems to keep timing out with connection issues. Remove PCE from the machine and all is fine. Bloody software!

    You'd have to hard code the duplex on the switch, which would involve going under each interface and changing the duplex to Full or Half, whatever you're after. I'd suggest swapping the NIC's in the PC's, changing the cables to the wall jack and hard coding the duplex on both the ports in question.

    It's the actual Console we are having trouble updating. We updated manually to version 3000 and it's then supposed to Auto Update to 3007. The Clients all updated fine to 3000. Looks like we'll have to get onto Forensic. Thanks all

    Has anyone here managed to get PCE to autoupdate from version 3000 to 3007. Have been trying here for a few days now and it just isn't having any of it Proxy settings are in, DEP is set to Windows Files only and still no joy

    I try and talk to pretty much everyone in the school. Get on best with the IT staff and our VLE tech, but I can't think of anybody I actively talk to who I don't get on with!
