Hi, I have just started out as Network Manager at a school that currently doesn't image its computers (believe it or not!). I want to buy Ghost Solution Suite for Windows Server 2003, but I wanted to check how much it costs per CAL? Do you have to buy CALS for Ghost Solution Suite or just for Ghost? Hope that makes sense. Also, how much would I expect to pay per CAL? Can anyone recommend a good place to purchase this software? Thanks in advance. Alan

Hi, I want to migrate printers from 1 server running Windows Server 2008, and put them onto another server running 2003. I have had a look at the software Print Migrator 3.1 but I wasn't sure if it could migrate backwards. Has anyone else tried this? If so, did it work? Hi, In 4 weeks time I'll become a network manager at a new school. I've been a Senior ICT Technician for over 4 years and deputised as network manager on quite a few occassions. I'm just wondering if anyone has any tips for starting out as NM? Can anyone share their experiences of when they first stepped up to this position? Ta very muchly Alan.

I used Uniservity in my last school and found it very unflexible, slow and not particularly user-friendly. I now use Frog which is a lot nicer to work with, albeit quite expensive.

Uniservity is terrible.

Hi, We've got some really REALLY old Viglen thin-client terminals that have gone haywire. Basically, I need to access the 'backdoor' to make a few changes. No idea what model no but then are thin and blue! Anybody know what the combination is? Someone told me its something to do with holding down TAB (?) on startup. If anyone can shed any light on my problem it would be much appreciated!
