  1. Shop bought bread does have so much crap in it.
  2. Sounds like you might have either a wheat allergy or gluten intolerance. I was diagnosed with gluten intolerance in the summer. A pita to begin with but now I'm so much better - no bloating, headaches, joint/muscle pain or irritability. Gluten free since July last year and it's going well. Easy to replace gluten containing stuff with alternatives. We use gluten free flour, pasta, etc. Many people go undiagnosed regarding wheat allergy / gluten intolerance. Severe gluten intolerance can lead to damage of the small intestine. Might be worth getting checked out.
  3. Yet another reason not to vote for this dangerous bunch of out of touch morons: BBC News - UKIP councillor blames storms and floods on gay marriage Farage is just another rich boy playing at being a bloke you could have a smoke and a drink with. Politicians - I'd shoot the lot of them. Idiots. /RANT OVER
  4. I don't know what the current Russell Hobbs range is like but our first machine was one of theirs and it lasted 9 months before it died. Hence the Kenwood - expensive at twice the price - but still going strong after two years.
  5. Our Kenwood is a couple of years old now. Here's the latest version: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kenwood-BM450-Bread-Ingredients-Dispenser/dp/B001QTVX50/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1390060621&sr=8-1&keywords=kenwood+breadmaker And watch out - a common mistake is losing the paddle - that mixes the dough. It is embedded in the loaf when you take it out. Amazon do sell spares for the Kenwood though.
  6. Go for it - we have a Kenwood. As well as bread you can make pasta dough and jam in it. Takes a couple of minutes to prepare the ingredients and set it off. Has paid for itself many times over. We use it every other day.
  7. Or, have you looked in the last place you had him? Lost things usually are found the last place you were together. We lost a member of our darts team once and found him where we'd left him in a layby on the A5.
  8. Just having a shufty in DHCP to check everything was okay and came across an IP address lease with no name. I can ping it. So I put the IP address into a browser and lo and behold it's a Netgear FS726T Smart Switch - password protected. We've never had this make/model onsite. Now bemused and baffled and a bit angry in case some muppet has brought their own kit in and plugged it in for some reason?! We're a biggish site but we can't see it anywhere after a trawl. Any ideas? I have installed the Netgear Smart Control Centre utility but it can't find it.
  9. Nah, Microsoft will cave in. Windows XP is still too popular. People and companies after the financial meltdown don't or can't invest in shiny new kit as often as they would like. I was in a firm of solicitors the other week and all their clients were Windows XP - nearly 100 of them. The IT bod was saying they'd keep going until they were pushed and then probably only to Win7.
  10. Too many companies and educational establishments - mainly in Asia - have invested in XP - Microsoft will concede further.
  11. Knew it would happen - too many users! BBC News - Microsoft extends virus warnings for Windows XP to 2015
  12. We've done quite well selling job lots on eBay. PITA to organise and do though.
  13. Next time I'm in town I'll let you know. Bring an axe and torches.
  14. Do you know that there are people in the world that actually believe that there could be a zombie apocalypse?! Stupid people. Hang on, I went to Luton last week and it figures.....
  15. 6 Months - was it because I said I'd fight everybody and not run away?
  16. Isn't jury selection totally random?
  17. It all stinks. We have a lousy system of government now. It's been corrupted by greed.
  18. And then there's multi-tasking - such as watching a DVD on a laptop perched on the dashboard whilst tailgating on the M6 at 80mph, urinating into a empty tango bottle and then launching it out of the window, whilst thinking about topping a few prostitutes in the next town...
  19. Rory Cellophane Jones is a kn0b. The BBC are kn0bs. The BBC are excellent at paying huge salaries to 'journalists' to state the obvious. The BBC think that weather is a major news event. If they can't find a story about the weather they go and find a dancing pig or something else totally stupid. /RANT OVER
  20. Do you get to stack all your cows, pigs and sheep into a big pile and set fire to them when they get foot and mouth?
  21. Hmmm, there's more than just a passing resemblance to myself.....I always wondered why my knuckles were sore.
  22. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-25618694 I thinks she's going on about the weather
  23. Ouch, Nigerian bods - it's still up in its hacked state as well.
  24. Sounds like it's going to be bad tonight and tomorrow down south. Keep safe, people!
  25. Yeah, we have a science dept that needs RP to play stuff they bought a century ago.
