Yeah but I wan;t to just be able to drag and place, i.e. I could have an iPlayer windows open (popped out) and place it in the corner of my Edugeek window, allowing me to watch tv and post in edugeek. Without the need of 3 monitors

I'm sat here trying to read 2 webchat's and do other stuff (multitasking), and had the thought, why can't I just drag and drop a web page onto/into another one. So I could have edugeek open and drag/embed my chat window on the same page, so I don't have to switch tabs or look behind other windows. Seems a simple thing not to of been developed/thought of?? Anyways any got other simple (ish) things that they would like invented lol. Si p.s. O2 customer service are awful!!!

Just re-reading Feists' Magician series again. Will take a look at World War Z next. Although I have fond memories of the Duncton Wood chronicles from too many years ago, may dig them out next.

Can't find a thread on this yet. 1st game in Australia today, Lions team looks strong (not sure they could field a bad side) Western force under strength. Another 50 point win to Lions??

I'm sure if in went to a company and said I had 50 sites to survey they could do it for a lot less than £100k ?

How much is what I thought! Bear in mind they are surveying 50+ primaries. I think its a bit excessive!!

Thanks guys as I imagined. Our LA are looking at total wifi coverage as the Welsh Government has given them lots of money to do this. Our LA want to charge between £1500 + £3000 per school per survey!!

How much does a Wireless survey cost from an independant company ? Ball park figures that all.

Doesn't matter why they did it, THEY DID IT. Unfortunatley the only punishment they can recieve is "life" imprisonment, which is never for life. Bring back Capitol punishment - Life for a life.

MY EYE"S MY EARS

We have just gone to Konica Minolta direct after a direct lease with Toshiba. Was cheaper option for us.

Well once again i'm re-visiting this thread. With a mix of new baby and lazyness my weight has once again reached the 15+ stone mark (15st 9 last Monday) Just doing circuit training once a week was not enough to offset my general unhealthy eating. So last week I changed it up again. I have started the 5:2(fast) diet as a boost to get me started, I couldnt do this diet long term but as a boost and as mental queue to get back eating healthy it has helped. Also along side my circuit session once a week I ave started doing the "Insanity" workout before work each morning (6am) So 1 week in and i've lost 6lb - happy with that. Current weight 15st3lb Si

A plain old Marie biscuit for me

Who's doing the best prices on iPad mini's at the moment? Also what do you recommend as a storage/sync device? Thanks Si

Have the clients and servers got the same time? BST not messed everything up?

We have the original Learnpad 1 units which work fine, the kids and staff have not come to me and said anything about them being slow and unresponsive. We are just looking into buying another 60 of the latest versions, which are faster and have more functionality. From a management point of view they are all controllable, lockable, remote installation of apps from the web, the devices "poll" the learnpad server every 30 mins or so to check for any new apps or configuration changes or you can "push" apps to them. The guys at learnpad have been great at keeping in touch and are at the end of the phone for any support. We have had just 1 unit fail in 18 months and it just needed re-flashing. The only downside over the iPad is we can't find an iMovie alternative in the Google play store - yet.

We just ask Learnpad to put the apps on for us and invoice us. they do all the leg work with the author and licensing.

Have connected via Hyper v manager from another pc (engage brain before panic lol) exporting before blatting

My 2008 Hyper v host is dying, it didnt come back after a windows update. It holds 3 Hyper v servers. I have got back into on, but no MMC snaping will run, just gives me $secure corrupt errors and the advice t run chkdsk - did that, didn't fix it. So i'm about to BLAT it and rebuild, just want to ensure I have backed up all the files I need efore hand. Can I just copy the Physical .vhd files and restore them? Advice appreciated Si
