[joke] Thursday Joke (I'm not around tomorrow)

I philately deny any wrongdoing with my above post. Whether your are mail or femail, many people dislike puns and but I think they are part and parcel of our humour, I stand by every letter. -
[joke] Thursday Joke (I'm not around tomorrow)
linkazoid replied to Fatmas's topic in Jokes/Interweb Things
We are being FED EXcessive numbers of postal puns. I'm having no trouble putting UPS with them myself, but perhaps it is time for us to address other subjects? we should move on before we get couriered away. -
With VLC you can adjust it, not sure if you can save the adjustment though.

Ice Cream Sandwich (update to Honeycomb) will be for phones and tablets so the phone should get the update at some point. During the Google IO the Android Handset Alliance agreed to update phones for 18 months after release to minimise the fragmentation of Android any further.

Anyone recommend a good fibre installer in or around London?
linkazoid replied to sidewinder's topic in Wireless Networks
We've used these for all our fibre installations Gemini speak to Gordon. Our installer was Andy and he's a fantastic bloke! All runs are certified and tested. -

Hi Nick, A member of staff has pointed out to me that if they upload a zip file that contains loads of folders, folders that do not contain any files will not be created. Do you think that you could fix this? Regards, Michael

I know that this works if the lift is under fire control. Except that you have to continue to hold the floor button until the floor then hold the open door button.

Request: Create a MSI to fix Adobe Updater Error
linkazoid replied to linkazoid's topic in How do you do....it?
Ah didn't think about using GPP. It would be nice to have an MSI though so that I can use it in my other schools if needed. -
Hi, Another cheeky request for a msi fix please. We have a problem with CS5 and it fails to launch on some clients due to a problem with Adobe updates. Adobe have a fix which requires copying a dll to the following locations: I have attached the file that needs to be replaced in each folder. Would someone be able create an msi for me. Thanks in Advance, Michael updaternotifications.zip

Hi Nick, I think I'm nearly ready to roll out for all staff, seems to be going down a treat with the select staff who are currently testing. Do you have PSD files available for the haplogo.png as I would like to customise the wording below if so would it be possible to get a copy of it? Thanks, Michael

Hi Nick, I did try to get https working but couldn't manage it on IIS7. Do you think there may still be bits left from before? I've attached a screenshot of what is shown when I click on extended version. Thanks, Michael

Hi @nickbro, I've finally got rid of the error I was having before, I think it was due to me copying lines from my previous web.config. Now i'm having problems of it not showing any drives in the Extended Version but they show in the basic version. I have double checked that the MIME type has been added correctly. I'm am using IIS 7. Can you shed any light? Thanks, Michael

Hi, Currently we use Ghost to gather and deploy our images. Each model is loaded with the required software and gathered. I've wanted to improve our current setup for a while but don't know what to move to. What do you reccomend that I look into to make our lives easier here, as there seem to be so many ways of deployment. WDS, RIS, MDT, SCCM, FOG or just stick with Ghost??? Thanks, Michael

Hi Nick, The file HAP.AD.dll exists in the bin folder. I followed the Youtube Video for IIS 7.5. Do you have any written documentation incase I haven't followed the video properly. Thanks,
