Other option is to get a riser for the dado back box to make enough room I've had that done before so the dado is shallow for the cables and amps, you put in the normal dado back box and it has riser that fixes to it to make it stick out and be deeper but be warned people will walk into it and break it off and make a mess.

GoDaddy for us for hundreds of certificates for us, we have had a couple of issues with the latest iOS update rejecting some older Go Daddy certs that are not SHA256 but a simple re-issue fixed that and the issues went away and tbh you should be re-keying old certs not in SHA-256 for security.

Yes I have seen this and had it before with HP Printers and crappy print drivers, installing the print drivers fixes some issues when you put them on the Terminal Server as it cannot pull them through and some just don't work with the modern smart printing tool. https://spottedmahn.wordpress.com/2011/06/01/cant-print-over-rdp/ Was a blog I followed and disabling got it fixed just ensure that you have all your print drivers and test them as working.

Using VMware VCentre Appliance per chance? This is the exact reason I have said as have some others on here many times to keep all of VMware VCentre on a physical box (and this includes the HP Tools for these SANs) then you can get into that when things go wrong if you only have one cluster and host the appliance on the same cluster.

Certainly not in commercial they are not our Dell account manager was very complaisant she would never be beaten till she called me and asked why I hadn't placed an order in nearly a year to me telling her that every reseller I tried beat her by several hundred pounds a unit on the Ultrabooks we use, she then couldn't beat the price for ages and then finally she got some higher level approval to beat it which then made it unbeatable by resellers. Certainly don't write off the power of the reseller.

Not done a 6 roll out yet but from my reading as we still won't be using the VCA as unless you have 2 separate clusters with the VCA for the cluster on the other so Cluster 1 has VCA for cluster 2 etc.. It has also been in a colleagues lab testing quite unstable with a more PSOD than we would like for something production ready and a lot of plugs that use the Vmware API are still having issues with the API despite them supporting it when in our testing, Veeam and BUE say it support it with the right version yet we have seen in testing issues with backups and restores not being perfect which are perfect in 5.5, I was looking at rolling a small office to 6 next month but after this bench testing we have decided to delay another quarter so will be sticking with 5.5 for now. For the DBs you have always had a 2nd DB for VUM but it is on the same host in many cases, so we have 2 DBs on SQL for ours one is the main VMware one and the 2nd is the VUM one so just carry on that practice and we will carry this on in 6.

The Thirty stations are due to them taking over some national rail services from Greater Failure, sorry Anglia out of Liverpool Street, so that is the "Overground" and TfL Rail from Liverpool Street

Cannot directly comment on the VNXe range however I use the VNX1 and VNX2 range (so those are the next step up the tree starting at VNX5200 from the current range) and they are bulletproof bits of kit, you get what you pay for with them so I cannot imagine the baby VNXe is going to be any thing less splendid, key difference is it has more features out of the box as its designed for smaller use than the ones we use. I'd not use any other SAN now after using VNX, have been bitten by others and just feel you won't go wrong with EMC now.

VMware suggest this : "You may need to migrate from SQL Express to SQL Server if you are close to or exceeding 5 hosts, 50 virtual machines, or 4 GB database size. (In Microsoft SQL Express 2008 and newer, the maximum database size has been increased to 10 GB.)" I wouldn't exceed most schools to go above 5 hosts given how powerful hosts are now the 50 VMs could be exceeded I guess if you run lots of in-house systems and split them all up, but given the DB size increaed in 2008 Express that probably has a little bit more room to shuffle.
