  3. Hi all, I am hoping some fellow web designers and IT Professionals can give me their opinions and constructive critism on our school website that I design and maintain. I have posted in the past and thought I would ask for all your opinions again as a lot has changed on the website since then. Thank you link below St. Cuthbert's Primary School | Seaham

  5. Would setting as local intranet site be a vps/host issue?
  6. I was told it was version 11. The person trying is also a technician and thinks it must be something to do with my website but I just don't see how if it is working for others fine??
  7. Thank you for checking. What browser are you using ?
  8. I have recently been speaking with someone who tried to view our school website from a library and a separate computer on internet explorer and they have showed me images of the website where it has not rendered/loaded correctly. Here is a few screenshots: http://www.stcuthbertsprimary.com/1.jpg http://www.stcuthbertsprimary.com/2.jpg http://www.stcuthbertsprimary.com/3.jpg Is there anyone out there who can advise me what the problem is here? Obviously the website runs perfectly for me on my macbook running Safari, so if anyone can test on other browsers/machines that would be really helpful to me. Or if you have any idea what is wrong in this situation as I would hate to think others are having this problem when trying to access our website too. Thank you for any help given. 9. I can't help looking dodgy. Its just my face.
  10. Good point with optimising images. I have had lots of issues with load times on the site and this could be a big factor in that. If anyone notices the website going slower than usual please let me know and if you know the answer to why that would be great too! I used google document viewer in the past but people seemed to have issues viewing the documents due to bandwidth limitations, is this still the case?
  11. I have recently made quite a few changes on the website thanks to opinions and constructive criticism in the past. I would very much appreciate any advice and feedback you can give me regarding our school website as I still want to keep on improving every section and adding more sections if you have any ideas? I would love an outstanding grade from ofsted for our website. St. Cuthbert's Primary School | Seaham Any advice given is greatly appreciated. Thanks
  12. Why is it always Internet Explorer 11 I have issues with! No worries I will look into it thank you. I am hoping we have everything Ofsted requires and I am now looking to keep on improving the children's section so they start using the website at home more.
  13. I see what you mean. I change the background image and main header to reflect what time of year it is, a bit like google! But I do agree the autumn background isn't right.
  14. Good advice thank you. The menu and embedded PDF's seem to be fine on my end. Is anyone else having the same problem as FN-GM ?
  15. I recently posted this in the off topic section without realising there is a section for web development. I have also made quite a few changes on the website thanks to other opinions and constructive criticism. I would very much appreciate any advice and feedback you can give me regarding our school website as I still want to keep on improving every section. St. Cuthbert's Primary School | Seaham
