Are these machines on the same network as the machines that boot fine to PXE ? Looks like your not getting an IP at all, which looks like they can't talk to the DHCP server.

Zabbix here - we use it to monitor and ISP fibre network... so it is a good tool.

SO what about Windows 7 Pro/Ultimate versions ? If they are stopping updates for 8.1..... Windows 7 is older.... whats going to happen to that!! ?? Is 7 going to carry on as is ? or is redmond going to come up with some bright idea to stop updates for 7 soon too!?

ok try changing your local DNS settings when it goes off see if that works.. could be a DNS issue .. would certainly rule it out if not.

You could use the Virgin Superhub in modem only mode but if you are on a cable connection it's easier just to buy a new router with a WAN port.... Modem mode really is better for DSL type connections.

Sounds like a faulty router, regardless of line state you should be able to login to it. When it goes 'offline' is it still pingable ?

Sounds like it could be A DNS issue, we get this now and again with the ISP which is local to us, no internet but all seems connected - happens when a DNS server goes offline. Try using 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4 on your PC in network settings see if you get a connection again. Although your router not responding is strange, Have you tried turning it off and back on again ?

Hi everyone, This may be a weird one but here it goes. At the moment we have a relaxed password policy, passwords have to be a certain length, expire after 90 days and you can't use the same password twice. However, I want to enable password complexity, but here's the thing, are there anywhere that anyone knows of A standard that explains why Password Complexity uses the charterers it uses etc ? I'm bound to be asked by someone 'why do I have to have a password that adheres to this policy' ? I'd be handy if I could find A standard or something that explains the use of complexity and why it is the way it is. I hope you all Understand what I mean. Thanks Have A great day! Chris.

Thanks for the advice. I used gloves to put it in a tub, and took it round behind my house were there is a beck and set it free. didn't see any more of them. I'm not sure what the attraction was to my garden as we don't have a pond or anything - but will keep my eyes open for them and take them round to the beck.

Hi everyone, Doing the usual Sunday clearout of the garden, however I have un-covered this strange thing at the bottom of the garden - does anyone know what it is, it's under our blossom tree. Photos: But wait there's more.... I have found some sort of lizzardy creature in there.... The 'hole' is full of - well you can see by the photos. Anyone any ideas ? Thanks in Advance.

Relating to my comment ^^^^ about having the Humber bridge outside my Window.. I live even closer to it and on a night when it's all lit up it's a lovely sight.

I have a MAC, but it's a PC with OSX installed onto it.. It's solid... it has an i5 CPU and oober amounts of RAM. OSX Works flawlessly.

We use Actifio..... We can restore a server within minute sor hours by pushing the VM back to ESXI or any other host for that matter.... Once we've done our full backup it's only file changes that are backed up - or Changes on Servers (Copy Data). Remote Mount is a god send... never seen it on any other product!! Basically just click Mount on a VM/File/FOlder and it will mount A VM to a ESXI Host, or a file/folder as a mapped drive on your local machine....
