Hi all, Im currently working on editing something on a php based site. I have a passowrd clear text box which is a mandatory field... however its only mandatory on firefox... ie and chrome its not mandatory. Weird..., youll be wondering why i have a plain text password box ? Its part of our bookin system and need passwords from customer pcs etc. I have a test server if someone could login and have a play ????? Dameware Remote COntrol - isnt that based on VNC - ie not like TeamViewer were you can control over the internet ?

I have done a similar thing on a corporate network, using thin clients on a Linux infrastructure. Built on CentOS & Fedora. Users were managed by LDAP, Samba servers were used for storage. We even managed profiles using a program call synergy. Home Directories were mounted upon login directly from a samba share which mean users could logon anywere. There wasnt really anything set policy wise as there was nothing that coul dbe changed without being in the wheel or root group so it was secure. Scripts would run directly from the server for updating the OS. Quite clever really you only have to update the OS from the server that is rolled out to clients and the OS is updated live without interruption.

Aye, yes I was in 4th this morning and went down to 2nd to pull into the car park, was able to slow down enough using engine breaking. I do like Auto's the company car is an Auto. I dont think Im at that stage in life where I want to go Auto though. Not yet
