YouTube - Sign-in so prove you're not a bot
badders replied to Techie-Tech's topic in Cloud Services
We have just started to see this in school, no access to YouTube unless signed in. Staff can sign in if needed as we also sync to Google as well as 365. Students we only sync to 365. Has anybody found a way to not have to sign in to watch a video? -
You can have more than one instance running, look for AllowMultipleInstances in the config file.

I'm looking at installing a 2016 DC in our network but when checking that everything is running smoothly before proceeding I'm seeing lots of schannel 36886 warnings on the current DC's (2012r2). We don't have an enterprise CA, can I ignore them or do I need to investigate further and what would be the best way to do this.

Problems with deploying printers at specific site
badders replied to swpmre's topic in Windows Server 2012
Have the PC's got security update KB3170455 installed? It's a print spooler update that can cause issues like you seem to be having. We removed the update and printers re-appeared after a restart. -
Ruckus - Is it possible to ban devices from just one SSID?
badders replied to DJ-1701's topic in Wireless Networks
You could use an L2/MAC acl to deny the ipads mac addresses on the Guest. We use an acl to only allow certain devices on certain WLAN's but you can also use a deny restriction. -
That's great, we had our Yr10's using it for mocks and it went down really well, the invigilators and exam officer also liked it.

Just noticed something else, the PrintFontSize and PrintFontFamily settings seem to be overridden by the ScreenFontSize and ScreenFontFamily settings.

If the header was moved 10 characters to the right there would be more of a margin for maneuverability when the hole is punched.
-
Is there any way of centering or moving the header slightly to the right? If the prints are hole punched the student name gets obscured.
-
No, that's what I'm doing as well.

We run about 21/22°C in ours.
