Was just about to ask the same question.. Will keep my eye on this thread!

You say you've joined it to the domain... I know you've probably tried this but is it sticking on a script or an MSI install? Matt
-
I like that idea but- We have Surface RT's, not able to install anything Meraki wise on them as far as I know. We would like something a bit more closer to home (well.. School). Like a location on a school map. Matt

Apologies if this has been asked elsewhere, my search-fu isnt great today. I know such a technology exists where you can stick a sticker to a say camera or tablet and you can locate it around school using the WiFi. Has anybody used this and what are their experiences? We are using UniFi Pro AP's. Matt

As far as I am aware this is not possible, its a security measure put in place by Apple. The only way we have got Apps to install silently was using Apple Configurator on our iMac. Matt

Also if you right click on a user in AD and select copy it will create a home folder in the root directory of the person you have copied with the new persons username and appropriate perms. Matt

Ive signed up with StartSSL and theyve verified me. I need to get an SSL cert for my HAP istall but im stuck as what to do now. I need to validate a domain name... I don't know if this is the schools web domain name, which is different to our internal domain name as it is hosted externally. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks, Matt.

New HAP setup, help with a few teething issues.

Ahh Nick, was just going to reply to @chilli's thread, installing Webdav has fixed it. I am able to Download files but not Open them. I get "The given key was not present in the dictionary" then a not found error. Not a huge issue as staff can download then upload. Matt -

I actually replied to another thread saying I had the same issue and its literally just been fixed. -
How would I know if WEBDAV is installed? Is it an IIs add on? I'm not too familiar with web hosting but keen to learn about it! Matt

Exactly the same set up here.. The head likes this a lot, very clean interface. Annoying to have everything so close and then fail! Matt

I have this exact problem, did you fix it @chilli ? @nickbro, can you help? Matt

I have fixed the issue with no images apearing, i hadnt set the AppPool perms correctly. I still have the issue where I can browse through the directory tree and see the contents of folders but when i click Open or Download on any file I get the "Not Found" error above. I am sure its something simple but I dont have a lot of knowledge with IIS. Matt -
Hi there! Just install HAP and we are very impressed however, No images load (the icons for the folders) and we can view the contents of a mapped drive but cannot open anything, we get a not found error. I am guessing this is permissions issue but have no idea where to look, IIS, folder perms etc! I have attached the screenshots, any help is appreciated! Matt
