Cheers Elsie, We don't require them to use their own devices but are happy for them to if they choose, they are all supplied with laptops. What we want to avoid is a situation where perhaps their own device is damaged and they claim the school has liability for it. I wondered if anyone in the geekverse has a policy outlining this. I may draw up my own if not. Matt

What i'm getting at is can we do it ourselves? As different people use different software it's a pain to get you to add it when needed. What if I install a bit of software and what it in QuickAccess immediately? Matt

Thanks guys. The kit is ours, was bought last summer but we weren't happy with the performance of it. I know its a decent system having read about it but the UniFi kit we are using spanks its butt! I'll go talk to finance about the VAT stuff. Matt

A while ago we put in a Netgear wireless network and due to a few reasons we replaced it a month ish after it going in. It has struck me that all the old kit was sat in a cupboard and have now dug it all out. After looking on eBay the AP's sell for around £350 new and the controller £160 WAP's: wndap350 | eBay Controller: wms5316 | eBay My question is, am I allowed to sell these? What is the legality of it? What is a fair price to ask for the lot? I have 14 AP's and one controller. I am in no way advertising on here, I just need advice. Also SLT have agreed the sale of the kit. If the thread is against any rules please delete it.
