Perhaps disgrace was the wrong choice of word but you get my meaning. It's been 12 years since I went ice skating but then there wasn't any local rinks and I recall traveling a good way to find one. Nottingham seems the closest rink to Leicester so I'm looking at a 60 mile round trip. Want to take my 5 year old and show her what not to do!. My apologies if I appear to be moaning but I've had the week off and it's Sunday evening now and school is looming

While watching the curling the wife said have you noticed that all of the British team are Scottish so after looking it up I can see why. In Scotland there are 22 rinks for curling but in England there are only 2 now that really is a disgrace.

I disagree I've enjoyed every moment of the Olympics and hats off to all the athletes who have participated. I just wished that I had the guts to do something like that when I was that age.

All of my schools have onsite Exchange servers but as one school is due for a new server next year I've been thinking about moving to 365 as well. I expect 365 has distribution lists but a number of our users have access to a second and third mailbox so I use the management console to automatically add said mailboxes to the users account without any user interaction. Can 365 do this and can 365 allow the user to send as?

The site manager was telling me he had a radio call to say could he go to one of the meeting rooms as they needed help. When he got there he was tolded the lights were not working so he walked over to the door and pressed the light switch thing is they had to walk past the light switch to get to the radio!

So I'm setting up toys of the devil otherwise known as iPads by using apple configurator. That's working well and I can deploy free apps and restore the iPads at will. I have got an apple VPP account but that’s where the problems start. On the VPP site when I add a paid I can't see anyway to add other apps and have them on the same invoice. Do go through the invoice process for each different app? Back on the VPP site how do I pay for the apps when the school doesn't have a credit card? I can't see a way to achieve this and ideally I would like to use a purchase order but I expect it's not that easy!

I agree it's a far cry from the 2012 Olympics which bombarded you with channels solely for the Olympic coverage. Shame really as I prefer the winter sport the the summer games

When we scan a book there's a 3 seconds delay before the details appear on screen and has always been like that for us.

One of my schools has it and it can be slow at times but is cloud based so you expect some slowness to some extent. Have you tried changing the interface to classic? It helped us speed up the response times.

So I've got gcalendar up and running but I've got a couple of niggles with it I would like to fix before the website goes live. 1. hovering the mouse over the date produces a tooltip which is good but the tooltip remains even after the mouse is moved away. Other sites I've looked at the tooltip is not persistent. 2. the tooltip is rendered white on black. How can I change the colours please?

The HT has a couple of email addresses linked to his mailbox and an important email that was sent last week has not come through to his mailbox even though the logs say it has. My first thought was that it has been deleted by mistake but I checked the HT deleted folder and there's no sign of the missing email. Then I checked the Exchange message tracking logs in EMC and it's listed but when I click details it gives an error saying the delivery report information for this message is no longer available. On other messages of the same age I can get the delivery info so something is not right. Where could the email have gone?

I'll tag on the end of this thread as I'm in the same boat. I've made a Meraki account and installed Apple Configurator. Both appear to offer the same restrictions. My question is do I need to use both Meraki and Configurator or will using Configurator alone suffice? Edit: Re installing apps. Do I setup an iPad with all the apps or are they installed via Meraki or Configurator?

Virgin always sail close to the wind and their data usage caps are shocking.

It is a new Apple ID made just for the ipads. I'm not sure the school has a credit card or at least it never the last time I asked so this might cause a problem.

I've just started setting up 30 ipads and I'm sure I missing something here but I'm trying download the Apple Configurator app from the store on a macbook and it's asking for payment methods. As this app is free how do I get round this? I don't know much about ipads/macbooks and the school is hoping to use an itunes card to pay for any apps so don't want to enter a card number at this stage. Thanks.

So I'm using the tablet looking at ebay and a popup appears which claims I have a virus. I've had these popups before but never on ebay.
