We are a primary and students don’t need a Google login especially the younger years.

Thanks, I'll take a look.

When opening Chrome we have started seeing a prompt that asks to sign in to Chrome and as Chrome is set as the default browser this happens even when running a shortcut URL. Is there any GP changes that can disable this? Thanks.

Jobos replied to JonMills80's topic in Windows 10
We put a barcode on our ID badges using Bar-Code 39. Might work for Junior Librarian too.- 16 replies

Yes you are correct, I was using outdated commands I followed this guide https://theadmin365.com/how-to-connect-to-exchange-online-using-powershell-in-office-365/
-
I'm trying to remote into 365 using powershell and getting an error. It used to work fine but not done this for 12 months or more so need help So I ran the Microsoft Exchange Online Powershell Module which wanted to update so after the update I entered the command Connect-IPPSSession -UserPrincipalName @xxxxxxx.xxxxxx.sch.uk into the powershell window, then the password all as normal. I got the 2FA prompt on my mobile, everything looks fine then the error I remember reading something was going to change with 365 and powershell but not sure now as it was a while ago. I'm assuming I need to reinstall using the latest version? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the link. Are the headphones all in one or can they be pulled apart? - - - Updated - - - I've been exploring the possibility of a separate coiled cable but each time I read the reviews I'm put off that some says the cables are too stiff to use and would pull out of the jack. I think this is probably because they are cheap cables so I need to spend more time searching.
-
After use we started to wrap the cables around the headphones but soon found that would cause the cable to twist and tangle the next time the headphone was used so we stopped that and now just push the cable behind the computer but there's 2m of it and many times I find the cables not pushed back enough or laying over the keyboard. It basically looks a complete mess. I like the idea with the removeable coiled cable think that would work great.

Powerpoint 2016 - Crashing and altering screen settings.
Jobos replied to TheRobins's topic in Office Software
We still get it and are using Office 2021 LTSC. Out of interest is it this splitter you using https://www.lindy.co.uk/audio-video-c2/splitters-c159/2-port-hdmi-10-2g-splitter-compact-p13084 -
Thanks for reading this far! I need to order more headphones for the IT suite and I normally get the Crusader almost unbreakable headphones and while they say almost unbreakable we have managed to break a few hence the new order. On the whole they seem to work ok but we nearly always end up with messy cables strewn across the desk so I've found headphones with a coiled cable and I wondered if other schools have tried them? https://wishtrac.com/products/stereo-headphones-coiled-cable

What machine is that?

Fonza came free with the Xbox as a download code so was thinking of uninstalling and then reinstalling it but that would be the last option though.

I've pressed that button and it just doesn't do anything and neither does the button with the two squares. All the buttons on the controller have been held down for at least 20 seconds. Yes that would have worked if it was pressed immediately after the event but sadly the wife was driving while I was cooking curry. Who knew it would turn into such a problem!

While playing Xbox X we have managed to get ourselves stuck in Forza Horizon 5 game. We were in a race and came off the bridge and somehow fell into a hole with rocks all around us with no way to drive out. I would normally quit the race at this point but neither Mrs Jobos or I can find a way to end the race and we have pressed every button on the controller. Please tell me there is a way out?

We paid around the £8K mark but the office admin staff ordered it.

See this thread /forums/av-multimedia-related/232765-outdoor-screen-help.html it's a 65" but I wouldn't waste your money.

Update: Sorry for the delay, I thought I had already updated this. In the end the reseller PWD Supplies gave us a 4G iPad and the manufacturer Allsee Technologies supplied the unlimited data SIM. Works fine but of cource we shouldn't have to use a workaround in the first place. Using the Apple TV was plan B but we never needed it.

We use Easybadge too and it's great but be careful if buying the lite version as it has a 100 record limit. We found out it is an accumulative limit because as when we got near the 100 record mark we had a cull on old records but Easybadge refused to add anymore even though the database only contained 85 records. We contacted Easybadge and was told this was by design. The Easybadge pro version costs £395 which would be fine for a large school as the software is great but not such good value for a primary. We ended up remaking the cards and saving multiple copies of the database.

We have 80+ iPads and use the free Mosyle.

You've got that right! There are some bargains about but not as many as retailers would like you to believe. For instance the other year I bought a bike in the sales and then found it cheaper later in the year.
