  1. Try restarting wds, it can get a bit upset if it didn't shutdown cleanly last time
  2. Was that dmviewer by any chance? Remember the same issue...
  3. I'd have two sets of start menu/desktops...one for x86 and one for x64. I already have different sets for laptops and workstations and RDS. I think in my blogs is some scripting I used to manage it...
  4. No worries, gimme a shout if you need
  5. Yep, no worries. Just checking you hadn't forgotten me . The Kerberos stuf will be mighty handy... Already doing that for other internal stuff via tmg
  6. You don't need to spend ages upgrading packages. If you set SCCM up properly, you have it automatically verify and update content on a schedule. It never needs touching now it is set up, and as said already...yep...using it for discover as well. Good old parameters for all the installers
  7. Looks great nick. Did you manage to squeeze in the request for changing the way the "unavailable" works so that you could block out more than one session if you wanted. I now we were playing with the custom actions...not sure if you got further with it..
  8. Thanks again :-) - and, as Id expected, Im pleased with the Spring Update. The team have been busy.
  9. He he he....I didn't get told off there! Thanks for your help on the other emailed issue by the way Phil.
  10. You don't need it to be an MSI for sccm to handle it...I already do it that way as solus doesn't work with appv being installed
  11. Hi @Millgate Luke... we need a chat tomorrow...
  12. That's why @PhilNeal has been quiet
  13. Urgh... magic info showed so much promise...but Samsung bodged it so many times. Now using xibo....same features pretty much
  14. As others have said, you don't have to install the software update component straight away. In fact, under 2007 I didn't as it was horrid compared to wsus. Only recently have I started using it for the system now I've moved up to 2010 last summer. Even when you do install it, I'm expecting you have gpos for windows updates which over ride the sccm client anyway. One other thing...I put in 2007 to replace fog originally. Now use 2012, and soon it will be doing scheduled rebuilds over weekends when needed during the holidays. Saves us time! Need any help, shout
  15. Happy birthday! Glad the missus on the mend as well. Epic pressies:)
  16. Lol....genius!!
  17. Well deserved Tigerman @GrumbleDook...which reminds me, I need to get in touch with you - been a bit manic with a few other bits... long story
  18. I would say no, as we received an alert from our LA originally...and there has been no advice to the contrary yet.
  19. You could to to, @rpwillis - Salamander My Docs and Shared Docs will do this for you; chargable - but at least you are working with a supported partner.
  20. Funny...i got a call today as well. Intriguing...will do some nagging of SWGFL and let people know; althought it will vary in the different parts of the area by LEA...
  21. Another +1 for @Net-Ctrl here - Stuart knows his stuff when it comes to optimum siting and config :-)
  22. Great to see this is alive again (cue... its alllllliiiiiiiives :-p) Will be installing next week, and will let you know
  23. Ta...hazard of typing on the mobile app.
