I got the d/l but same original error. I found it's best to log in first before clicking on the download else it went funny on me too.

I have been having a problem with some boards we recently got from another school. They only work if I unplug the USB when the user has logged on then plug it back in again. I was trying to update the driver when I got the error in the screen shot attached. Couldn't find any reference to it on your KB. The boards have activ studio 3.5 but we would like to put inspire on as well. Original driver : v 4.1.13.18 Board Firmware: 3.67.1

To expand on what is said above it is useful to use message box on all the different conditions so you can see where the code is going.

Add an image of the PDF icon. Make it a hyperlink to the file and the client browser should do the rest.

After looking around a bit it seems the Dext is actually the Cliq in America and the Droid is something different and better. Does this look right?

I have used those Sahara boxes and they are a solid metal box and all the connections are in line connections so no soldering inside.

Look for the likes of ctfin, ascout these will be the easy ones to spot.

The MIDAS stuff will effect us all and I reckon we will definately be sorting out some parents with certain details.

For most people you can have read only. But as mentioned some directories will need to be writable by people who do your census etc eg star\ascout etc. Also ctf files need to go in a certain place as well.

Yup I saw it on Orange but I wasnt sure about their data plan. Having never used data on my mobile is 500 meg going to be enough if you moderate the you tube vids etc?

I have been waiting a while for a newer Android based phone to come out. I really wanted one with a full keyboard but something a bit newer than the G1 etc. Motorola have realeased the Dext and there is supposed to be a Samsung offering at some point. The reviews seem favourable for the Dext, although I am not really needing to update 4 social networking sites . Anyone got any opinions on it or has anyone got one?

Well to answer my earlier question re Upgrade XP to Win 7. According to the stuff here an XP "upgrade" consists of running the DVD, getting the chance to save some settings to an external HD then it runs Win 7 setup. This consists of renaming your xp windows folder to windows.old then doing a fresh install. No programs are taken over etc. This is a reasonable scenario for me as I never really liked "upgrades" but it is a pain to install XP first just for it to be deleted (but then thats what our unattended XP install CDs are for )

Are you saying the upgrade version purchased through this offer allowed you to do that?

How good is the "upgrade" from xp ? Does it just check your XP is ok then basically delete it install windows 7 or does it try other stuff which I am never keen on?
