The engineering side of Apple is very impressive, the battery technology is genuinely interesting. However if less practical and more stylish is where the industry is going then I am extremely disappointed.

Oh no I know Style sells, but what happened to Apple producing high quality hardware which 'just works', now it 'just works' if you buy a load of extra stuff because they couldn't make it 'just work' to begin with because it wouldn't look stylish enough. Despite the fact that having a massive adapter hanging off the side looks ridiculous.

So you need to spend an additional £65 to make the laptop practical enough to consider buying it? Couldn't have just put a second USB-C port on the other side could they. Style before practicality is really ruining Apple. Apparently it has a 480p camera on it, what is going on??

Is this from a supplier or solutions company? Feels like they are trying to get you to use their services to move on from WS2003, a bit overboard if so!

Yeah Maldonado's was at an angle Alonso's basically hit the wall side on, that's why it's only almost identical and not identical. In terms of position however they were at the same point on the track and both experienced a gust of wind. You can reason therefore that Alonso probably did touch the astroturf as a result and lost the rear but recovered before hitting the wall as he was travelling substantially slower than Maldonado was at the time. The speculation that he lost conciousness before hitting the wall is just that I think, speculation.

It's sort of like C# to C++ and C, nothing really new here in that sense, the language is just Apple's take on a high level managed programming language. From a naming point of view I feel like Apple have once again set themselves up for a court case, there is already a programming language named Swift, it even uses a similar logo. So this is bound to be in the news at some point.

The same incident has happened numerous times before at that corner, Maldonado was the most recent with an almost identical crash. I'm not really sure what to make of it, I don't really see what an investigation would find in this circumstance, and I don't see why McLaren would call for one if they had something to hide.

It was mid corner turn 4, he hadn't made the straight when it happened. I don't think they have found any real damage (internal or external) beyond the damage caused when he went over the grass, certainly all the press releases from McLaren state the car was basically undamaged and they called for an investigation. Vettel's car which was behind Alonso had a camera on it, so they have that footage to analysis, though I doubt it will show anything revealing.

I don't with my partner, and I can't see a time when I would ever consider it really.

I personally do things like, going round the IT Suites and makes sure they are tidy, visual inspections of equipment are good for this too. If you are responsible for the CCTV system for example you might want to put in place a daily visual inspection (weather permitting).

It took about 4 days here, they found a problem with it and emailed me to let me know they had fixed it, which wasn't too bad. This was on an old tenant we have, installed it again on a new one and it was almost instant so I think they resolved the issue. We haven't really done anything with it yet so I haven't looked at provisioning OneDrives, I might have a look next week, if so I'll post back here.

That didn't work for me, 5 threads refused to clear and I had to visit the latest post in each thread individually to clear them. I'm not a fan either, I tend to read some threads just by the replies I receive via email rather than visiting them on the site.

Also as and when (and when budget allows) so most of ours are 10* years old. Also HP with lifetime warranty, only had to use it once to date.

Just a note if you do decide to host a server and don't want kids to be aware of IP addresses or the worry of trying to explain it to them. An internal CName DNS record does the job quite nicely.

I don't think it really makes much difference, the account is just a name and skin at the end of the day. It really depends on what the club will be doing I suppose. Personally I would suggest buying it if possible as the MinecraftEDU thing provides some resources I believe, though if it's just for random building and you don't want to pay anything then using existing accounts should be fine. When you buy Minecraft you are effectively just buying an account, the client itself doesn't have any license attached to it and can be downloaded for free.

If the kids have their own accounts do you still need to buy it? I wouldn't have thought so. Something to consider perhaps, though doing it like that excludes those who don't already own it.

If it was a very long string of names it might have been over the character limit for the path, if so you can get all sorts of weird errors when you try and delete things.

Lync isn't exactly EoF, it is being rebranded to Skype for Business, all the features of Lync will be carried over and you can even keep the Lync interface if you want. It'll just be a patch that changes the client, as far as I'm aware the backend is identical.

We have an excel spreadsheet which we paste data into from a sims report, it constructs students usernames, passwords and email addresses. In addition it builds the batch files and poweshell commands to create user accounts, home drives, shares, permissions and create their mailbox on exchange online. It then exports these commands to batch files and powershell scripts and creates a master batch file which runs them all. Nice and simple (once it's set up)

I haven't read the comics but is Daryl's Turtle that he has for one episode from the comics?

More or less hooked, to be honest I don't really have an issue with the slow burning episodes, if it was action every episode I would probably have gotten tired of it a few seasons ago, it's good to have episodes that focus more on the plot, character building, etc. than just killing walkers.
