I think that is what makes the show so great though, the divide it causes by the moral decisions Rick/the group face. My other half and I usually have a post-episode 30 minute conversation about what was right/wrong/suspicious etc. For example (trying not to spoil too much for people not far into it here); I really enjoyed season two because of Shane, despite his 'methods' I think he was a survivor and did whatever was needed to protect the camp which rubbed off, and improved, Rick as a leader. he had to adapt to become a more uncompromising leader if he wanted to effectively protect his group.

Yes, it's good when the characters are developed, but I think SE4 had too many 'fillers' like the Beth & Darryl in a random cabin they burned down (I am conscious of spoilers btw, but there is nothing to spoil in this episode) at the end. SE5 since the mid season break has been exceptional.

Often has painfully slow burning episodes but also mixes in the odd nailbiter which keeps you hanging... Anybody else hooked?

+1 For this. Slow cookers are a good tool if you like meals don't have the time/inclination to cook beyond food preperation (chopping etc). Bring it in to work the following day and you'll save a few quid against the sandwich shop. I've lost 7lbs since January thanks to doing nothing but CV (running, football, gym etc.) and finally addressing my diet. Chocolate is my vice, but i've replaced the trackers/mikados etc. that usually clogged up my drawer with fresh almonds which satisfies the mid-morning/afternoon sugar cravings. Also plenty of H2O, A litre of it ice cold to start your morning if possible. Get's your metabolism cooking.

Hi @MrZippy and a welcome from a fellow newbie;) On the raspberry pi interest, I purchased a RP2 over Christmas with the intention to use it as a low-power media server for home. Alas, it seems that it doesn't have enough grunt to provide a smooth experience (I know, schoolboy error) so I am now left with a RP2 gathering dust. I would be interested in turning it into a cloud box to dump my files from smartphones/torrents etc. Have you ever done anything like this?
