But it doesn't matter due to our voting system, the overall votes mean nothing. It's the number of seats which count, my constituency has one seat which has been Tory controlled for 97 years, hence it's pointless me voting. Sorry but in my case it really doesn't matter if I vote or not. And yes I agree if everyone everywhere did participate then perhaps the outcome would be different in some areas, on the other hand if we had gone ahead with electoral reform then my vote would count and then I and countless other millions of people probably would vote. Because my vote and theirs would actually count for something.

It's a mathematical impossibility for the result to change in my constituency even if all of us who don't participate voted. The only way it could change is if everyone who doesn't vote Tory all voted for a single party and even then at best it would be close. So my options are vote and achieve nothing, or not vote and go shopping/do some work and achieve something. Either way the result is the same here, I would happily vote if it meant something, but unless I move or they get around to some form of electoral reform like was discussed 5 years ago it is pointless.

I hugely disagree with this, I don't vote because my vote in my area is completely wasted and my time would be better spent doing something else. Why does that mean I can't complain about the result? Until my vote actually counts for something there isn't any point in me voting. I can still have an opinion of the result however.

No it's a highway on ramp, traffic is only turning around in one direction so you need only put a highway on ramp between the two in the direction of the traffic which is turning around.

I made some suggestions here: You want to try and keep intersections as simple as possible and as far from each other as possible. The blue line joining your highways is a ramp ferrying traffic from right to left as a lot of traffic seems to be people doing U turns.

Yeah it's np! Also that road which is a dead end, nobody on that road can ever leave, so it's sort of a black hole for your residents

I think my favourite part is where you have 4 big roads going into a tiny roundabout, it's a thing of beauty!

Sadly the only sensible solution for the BBC is to sell Top Gear in my view, May and Hammond look to both be going (May has already updated his twitter to state he is a former tv presenter) so they will need to start from scratch on a new team. If you are going to do that, and revamp the show, why keep the name? The brand may well be a strong one but the brand has stronger ties with those three than anything else in my view. So they should sell the show, either to the three of them or another network, then start a new show with a new team and new format. Sadly as this is the sensible solution, it won't actually happen, but never mind.

I don't think either of them are particularly bothered about working for the BBC over another company, they have plenty of money and are very popular personalities. It's not like they will find themselves unable to get jobs.

We had a similar issue with a specific model of HP machines, but only where they had a mismatch between USB and PS2 input devices (ie. PS2 Keyboard, USB Mouse). Unfortunately our issue came down to an issue with the bios so we couldn't resolve it beyond pairing USB with USB and PS2 with PS2. We also didn't see an entry in the event log, so it's probably not likely that this is the same issue.

You can patent an invention, you don't have to have a working prototype for you to do that, you just need to describe it in enough detail so that others could produce it if they wish. At least that's how American patent law works as I understand it. Edit: Just to expand on this. The difference between what they have done here and patenting an idea is this. I cannot for example patent the idea for a Warp Drive, the reason being that despite extensive knowledge of the fictional technology and how it works (Thanks Star Trek!), I cannot describe it in enough detail so that a company could produce it. Where as with this technology, while they themselves haven't built it (presumably), they have described it with enough detail so that someone could build it.
