We experienced the same thing for a user yesterday, so I'm putting it down to the Sharepoint issue that is ongoing.

I did two weeks cover work for a technician at the school I now work at, my mum was also a technician which is how I got the hook up. From there I was offered a casual contract and covered for a period of 3 - 4 months for the same technician position after they left. Then I left for a few months and applied for my mums part time position when she left and got the position. I then applied for the next full time position which became available after another technician left after another year or so. So my mum is pretty much the reason I'm here since I probably would never have got the cover work that I did without her or the casual hours, which contributed greatly to my getting the part time position. I've now been in IT for 7 years. I really didn't notice the post dates of the first ones, funny to see how @crc-ict has progressed since this post!

Stationery**** Cupboard? How large is your budget?? We have a drawer with some pens, staplers (but no staples), highlighter (singular), paperclips and cheapo post-it notes. We do have CDs/DVDs but they don't fit in the drawer

ARK is way too expensive, I thought it was pretty disgusting that a game in early access would be on the steam sale and still above £20, absolutely mental.

They haven't confirmed/denied it yet. The only thing related is that an exec stated you would be able to get an ISO and flatten your machine, but no dates involved.

I'll be putting it on a new SSD at home, and I'll probably do my work pc over the summer just to get used to it for when we do eventually do the upgrade. I'm already running 8.1 at work whereas almost all the rest of the site is on 7.

I would avoid them, even big games like DayZ that are released in early access are pretty much always abandoned, this is the rule not the exception. It's rare to find a game that comes out in early access and does get finished. Some Green Light titles are not in early access however and are finished games, those you should be ok to buy if one takes your fancy, generally speaking Green Light was for indie titles who don't have publishers behind them. I voted No as the majority are early access, but the question somewhat confuses the two issues.

Well I don't know, it would need testing. Since the droplets are the size they are when they hit the windscreen you could assume that being covered in spray would mean many many tiny droplets. That could be almost as difficult to see through as normal even with this stuff.

Though this doesn't solve the issue entirely though, the rain would still hit the windscreen and move over it, just in droplets instead.

I really hate this and other F1 concepts, they are never remotely plausible or realistic.

HoloLens is a standalone Windows 10 machine, providing the networking is there it could probably work with any device provided you used the right APIs/SDKs.

I honestly think Rift is going to be the biggest let down in gaming history. It's going to turn into a device that you buy at great expensive for that one experience and then abandon it. I don't really see it adding much to any games that do add support for it either, sure being able to experience X gaming world in full 3D is cool but that's going to wear off pretty quick if it has no actual purpose.

This is a concern for them, but this will force people to use better methods, such as guest portals and RADIUS. They shouldn't be using WPA2-PSK as the problem with sharing keys is already an issue, this doesn't actually change anything as you said, just makes the issue more apparent.

Here's what I'm going to do, I'm going to wait and see if this applies to Enterprise/Education versions of Windows 10, because at the moment the assumption being made by everyone is that it applies to all versions. I honestly can't see Microsoft being that stupid, furthermore I honestly can't see them refusing to add GPO to control this.

Not a difficult sell to preserve that historical site as a museum/tourist attraction.

We are moving our email to Office 365 and from there going to play around with Office 365 Groups for staff departmental working, and perhaps sharepoint. On the student side they are all on Office 365 for email and we may look at Teacher Dashboard for setting homeworks etc.

I prefer the museum idea with a new parliament building, but failing that kicking them out and getting it done in a 5th the time is definitely preferable.

Our server room AC is set to 21. Our Office on the other hand doesn't have AC, there is a pipe leading from an AC unit in one of the IT suites which is meant to feed our room, it barely has any effect. The office also has no heating, so depending on the time of year and the weather the office can be anywhere from 10 - 30 degrees.

Would leasing suit your more immediate needs? I have no experience myself but you may want to explore the possibility of leasing some of the equipment you need desperately and then saving up to purchase other kit. Also as above, Pupil Premium can be used in this circumstance provided it's not already being spent elsewhere.

I believe what it tends to mean is that the KMS Host Service has been expanded to support Windows 10's backend, and Windows 10 keys. So you will have to put in keys for Windows 10.
