That's quite interesting as some of our SCORM packages have suddenly stopped working. I've just checked and we are on 9.1.16 although I've no idea when this version was applied as I always assumed that we were emailed before updates being applied.

After a lovely meal in a cafe my parents, sister and I emerge to find that it is persistently raining. I was about 12, my sister 15, so my dad says he'll go and get the car while we wait in the dry. 15 minutes later we are all asking where dad's got to as it's only a 5 minute walk to where the car was parked. Another 15 minutes later we are wondering if dad's been involved in an accident driving back to pick us up. Just then dad appears. After some "intense questioning" from my mum he confesses that he had actually driven all the way home before realising that he'd forgotten a few things...

Missed France v Italy (sat in a freezing stand watching Tigers v Newcastle!), thought Scotland v England was a bit poor and seriously didn't know who was going to win yesterday with Ireland v Wales. Fantastic game!

Exactly as above except we have a signing out sheet on a clipboard per year group. Pupils can't get out of school without going through reception so it works quite well. In the event of a fire pupils assemble by tutor group and fire marshalls sweep their assigned area to ensure the building has been evacuated.

I had similar last summer - no damage to bodywork but wheel had been hit with such force car had been moved 3 feet uphill in drive with the handbrake on. Subframe and suspension damaged so badly it was uneconomical to repair even before they checked the driveshaft. No witnesses, no CCTV, no note left. Reported to Police to get a crime number but knew full well they couldn't do anything.

I often find that a particular company will beat everyone hands down for a few years and then suddenly become very expensive. I was with Admiral for a few years then moved to Swiftcover. After about 4 years my renewal suddenly rocketed despite not making any claims and they weren't at all interested that I was getting cheaper quotes. Then Admiral offered the multicar option and although it made no difference to my wife's policy it reduced mine considerably. Last year I made a claim because someone wrote my car off but left the scene so I changed car. At renewal it was no cheaper for me to move but it was actually cheaper for my wife to stay!

The only batch file I use deletes the cached local copy of pupils profiles but I do have various VBScript files.

Nottinghamshire's half term already has been - 4th to 8th June with Monday and Tuesday as Public Holidays.

Exactly the method we use. I've also installed this on all of the computers for staff to use, although most of them still don't do so.

A pupil has spent a lot of time creating a WebPlus Flash banner in Serif DrawPlus x3 but every time she tries to create the actual SWF file or preview it the program crashes. I've tried on my computer and get exactly the same result. I've completed the crash report which gets sent to Serif but I wondered if there is anyone out there who knows some obvious things to try? I have to confess I know very little about how to use Serif software.

No problem - pretty sure I found it on the web (here?) and amended it accordingly. We run a startup script to clear the machine of profiles - that way they are saved to the server at log off but don't clog the machine.

I've seen 25cm or 30cm, we've bought them ourselves, but never that short. The part numbers for those were 99TRT-600-H (99TRT-600-HK for Black, 99TRT-600-HB for Blue) from Cables Direct or A3L791B25CM from Belkin.

School is closed to pupils but in Today and Tomorrow then return January 3rd. Typically though the Site Manager is off, the heating's not working correctly and his deputy doesn't know why!

Other than HP the last few printers we have purchased are Konica Minoltas. Downside is availability of compatible cartridges, upside is they often have a free 3 year warranty and seem solidly built.
