Ashton went off the boil during the World CUP IMHO - the only tackle I actually remember him making was on Ben Foden. As a Leicester Tigers season ticket holder I definitely agree about Flood. Overlooked a little under Martin Johnson then gets injured allowing Hodgson to be the back up to Farrell. I think Farrell is a great talent but in certain respects I think there are still aspects of his game that need working on if he is to be a world class 10.

I agree, I just wish he wouldn't use it so much in open play. There were several times when he kicked ball away where I think he should have passed it. This year the wings hardly saw the ball whereas last year Chris Ashton scored quite a few tries!

Unless you have a physical disability! We had a teacher here who had Parkinsons and spending less than an hour training Dragon voice was a godsend for this person.

I'd say it's just an "in". Start with something reasonable and logical then slowly but surely keep playing you to see what they can actually extract before you realise that you're being scammed.

Possibly although my sister-in-law has threatened to smash the OH's Kindle if she see it! Apparently she thinks books should be physical things on paper and all Kindles burnt at the stake along with the owner! Back to the original point of the thread, my OH uses hers all the time (as well as still buying actual books) and I have to admit I am considering buying one myself to get back in the habit of reading. We didn't bother with the 3G version and this has proved to be a correct decision because of the ease of downloading books on WiFi and the number it holds. There are a lot of really good free classics as well which she has downloaded. Only issue I've had really is that it keeps losing the wireless details. A lot of digging and testing later I discovered that it doesn't always like it if you have certain enhanced security features enabled on your wireless e.g. set to not broadcast the SSID. It's not that big an issue because the OH tends to download a batch at a time which takes a while for her to read.

When my brother-in-law had his Vauxhall Omega he used to buy part worns all the time albeit always from the same place. Mostly they were German imports from when people had changed to winter tyres I believe and always had loads of tread. I assume that you don't have a spare with a new tyre on? i.e. spare plus new tyre and use other one as a spare?

We have a set desktop for all pupils with a small amount of icons on that they are not allowed to alter. We use GPO to redirect their desktop to here and any folders above this are set to "explicit deny" for pupils.

Only thing I'd say is make sure that whatever contract you sign it is clearly stated exactly what the software can do. Some years ago a member of staff here signed a contract believing that the software would allow her to scan directly into SIMS and the salesman said it could. The trainer then arrived and said it wouldn't but the salesman disputed that he had made such a claim, saying that she had misunderstood his explanation.

So in order to get rid of the unpopular Friday evening games they changed to a 9pm kick off? Genius. Why they couldn't go with 3pm GMT and 5pm GMT (6pm local) is beyond me...

I heard that there are pockets of methane under the Stade de France, which goes someway to explain it I suppose. You also have to ask about the French rugby authority's decision to play a game at 9pm at the start of February!

It depends very much on the make and model. I looked on Parkers to get specific MPG figures for various cars and then used an Excel spreadsheet to calculate the savings based on MPG and the then cost of petrol and diesel per litre. When I then factored in the purchase price of the petrol and diesel equivalents of what car I wanted I ended buying another petrol car.

Together these two raise one of the questions I have, namely how does this work when a pupil's parents can't afford to supply a device? I'm not necessarily talking about the ones who are identified as being in a particular group that is entitled to CfP but those that are just above the threshold for certain schemes. i.e. they don't qualify for CfP but don't have the funds to provide a device for their child / children to take to school.

Yes - I did that pretty much straight away after doing a bit of trouble shooting and that was before I saw SCORM package issues mentioned here.

AFAIK you can only create a mirror with a drive of equal size so using a 2TB to mirror a 1TB wouldn't work. I'm not 100% sure though as I've only ever tried mirroring with identical drives.

Now on 9.1.19 but the SCORM packages are still not working.

I get an email just about every day telling me that my account with Santander has been suspended. Well I assume it's me as it's addressed to "Dear Santander Account Holder". Apparently I just click on a link and re-enter all of my personal details to reactivate the account. I saw one on a TV program last year where a woman got scammed when supposedly claiming her win on the Dutch lottery. She admitted when asked that she had never purchased a ticket for the Dutch lottery and when questioned further admitted she had never been to Holland.

I can't remember the exact wording but there used to be a large poster in Stanley that said something along the lines of all Argentinians being welcome as visitors providing they accept that the Falkland islanders want to remain British. The Argentinians have always wanted the "Malvinas" for the rich fishing grounds but naturally interest increased dramatically when oil and gas was discovered and this will further increase if it is proved that extraction is economically viable. As to the aircraft stationed there, the Tornado F3s were replaced by Typhoons although I'm not sure exactly when. EDIT: Interweb says that the Typhoons deployed in September 2009
