could buy an external usb and set it to sync data nightly/weekly. unplug it when its not in use. Should protect you from power surges or other power problems that could take out all your hdd's at once.

i know the only reason i have any talent in my job is because i had a very good manager in my early weeks who showed me the basics of all i'd need to know, since then he's left me to it. Any one on this site would help to develop someone else and make there working life easy, that should be true of any boss.

the job title ins't the most important thing, the important thing is having the skills assoacited with another job and actually being able to use these skills. I notice in another thread you were very unconfident with a server, tbh you'll probably need to gain more server related skills before you can be evaluated. If your unable to actually gain the experience i would recommend doing a few ms courses or even just reading the books.

if you export the cert from an xp machine and execute it on a mac it should put everything where you want it.
