There's an explicit "Silently sign in users to the OneDrive sync client with their Windows credentials" policy under the Computer Configuration node if it isn't doing it automagically. That seemed to do the trick here when it wasn't auto-populating.

If it's 15 VMs total, rather than 15 VMs per Hyper-V host then Windows Server Standard licences should come out loads cheaper. At 14 VMs per host Standard licences come in at 1/3rd the total cost of Server DC for our estate due to the core licencing model now. When it was per physical processor Server DC was much better value.

That might help you visualise how the reverse incremental works. The disk churn on a monthly reverse incremental is going to be pretty gigantic. This. 15-20 Gig daily change is about the average amount on a server of a slightly smaller size. It's difficult to comment without knowing your exact setup, but I would. Or look at reverse incremental in Veeam. Your most recent backup is a "full" backup and it creates incremental points to go back to. Fairly modest disk space requirements as you're storing one full and X number of points. Downside is it's very disk intensive and not really suitable if you're uploading to online backup storage as you'd be uploading a full backup everyday. Great for local (i.e. onsite rather than local to the server!) though even if it will chew up a few disks.

In the Date and Time system preferences putting in your PDC's IP address and having "set date and time automatically" ticked should cause it to sync. Any firewall rules or ACLs affecting traffic from the Macs? You don't normally explicitly add it for Windows domain clients, but I've had to put the IP address in explicitly for domain joined Macs to prevent their clocks slipping and for other non-Windows devices that I've wanted to sync to the PDC's clock.

Had one fail the other day on a DL380 G9. "Smart Storage Battery failure" in the Integrated Management Log and storage showing as degraded. Battery was replaced with the system cold which removed the battery failure and cleared the storage degradation errors. Green ticks back on system health. You can do it as simply as entering the old machine name during the OS deployment wizard (assuming the account you're using has the appropriate permissions). If you want to get fancier you can install a database and integrate it with MDT so that the machine is queried for something unique (Asset tag, MAC, system serial number) and then the details you would manually enter are pulled from the database you've pre-populated. If you're getting into MDT I can't recommend Johan Arwidmark's stuff enough.
