So Seems I can't find a host that does both, maybe back to Krystal as @Edu-IT and @NokiX have said they support .sch.uk and then someone else for the .school ones.

Why is this so difficult - WebhostUK now say they cannot support .sch.uk (having initially said they could!), and neither can netristar. Anyone know a registrar (other than TSOHost or SWGfL) that supports .sch.uk domains, otherwise I will have to move the hosting to a new provider and leave the domains with TSOHost. Cheers

They scheduled it, I was happy where I was but they are apparently decommissioning the servers - not impressed with the hosting going from £50 to £160 pa either!

Just to add to this thread for anyone who finds the topic - I want to scream at TSOHost who migrated us to their new server on Saturday and both school sites I host with them have been down in one form or another since (into day 3 now). Looking at Krystal from comments above the free migration they offer seems good, as well as not the huge costs that TSO now want to charge me!

I don't like the idea of dump it all, there is far too much that people don't know they need until a certain time of year, that said we migrated our student facing shares in one weekend the week they closed schools as realised the remote access solution we had had a fault that no one had told us about and we hadn't seen. We have subsequently moved all student home drives and the staff shared drive also onto OneDrive/SharePoint. It was not without the odd glitch, but we did it without compromising security and as currently 98% plus of our users are remote it was the right thing to do to continue functioning (we are trying to support running a full virtual timetable!). That said I have a 200Mb on Gig bearer internet and 10Gig backbone around site with Gig to the desktop, with 2016 HyperV's, so will be increasing internet bandwidth on return but happy that our infrastructure is up to it, so we are in a very different position to you by the sounds of it, I'm lucky to have a school that has long understood the need to invest in IT infrastructure.

Can't say I've experienced it as we havn't forced password resets in a couple of years, current (even before COVID-19) best practice advice from the NCSC/GCHQ was not to force user password periodic resets, so it maybe easier to disable the expiration all together?

Thanks, yes, using that I've identified that my Student policy in my Password Settings Container is working but my staff one is not, all staff and technicians are getting the "Default Policy" It looks like it cannot find Universal Security Groups, only Global ones, having changed the security group to a Global one it now correctly applies, but wondering what caused me to change it to Universal before and therefore what I might now break!

Not sure if this is Windows 10 or Server 2008R2/2012R2 related so posting here to start with. All my technicians have started getting reminders from Windows that their password is due to expire, however the setting for password expiry is not set in any GPO's and the Password Settings Container on my 2012R2 DC does not have any expiration set. Really confused as to what is causing it, and why it has started, the only network change we have made is to enforce MFA in our linked O365 accounts, but I can't find anything related to that causing password expiry on local AD users. Anyone else experienced anything or have any idea. Thanks Guy
