Not sure why you're getting so defensive over IE, it is well known that it's a piece of carp. Just about every website you have ever used will have to have employed some sort of workaround to make it display properly in IE; it's just an awful browser.

Adding any type of sub report definitely increases run time. For this reason, I try to make my reports as broad as possible and do additional filtering outside of SIMS if needed (e.g. run a report for all my target aspects, then pick out the specific ones I want after the fact)

Extremely; I don't think I've ever seen anybody get so excited over a company's new website before. As for cryptocurrency, it's easy to get caught up in all the hype and I must admit I'm mighty jealous of those early BC adopters who put in very little for huge returns, but you might as well look at them as lottery winners, their chances of such huge returns were almost as slim as that jackpot win. When you say you can't write a web front/back end, is the problem you don't do any coding or just not enough to write something that complex? If the former latter, you could use StatHat: StatHat - Awesome custom stat tracking tool. Set up a free account, have the stat page running on your second screen. Teacher's screen is a basic HTML/JS page with buttons to add points to a team. The StatHat API looks very simple to use... NOTE: I haven't used StatHat myself but the example given on the homepage looks like you could get this set up in minutes, YMMV

I get the impression that they have been doing something a bit off with their finances but that the education hasn't been called in to question, which gives weight to the HT quoted in the article that "the problem is with the sponsor, not the school." It raises an interesting question though, with 60%+ schools now Academies in this country, what happens when a sponsor gets caught doing something unscrupulous, as big corp. sometimes do? It'll tarnish the [potentially] good name of the schools they sponsor rather unfairly.

Personally, I'd avoid Squire... for not a ridiculous amount more, you can get a Yamaha Pacifica which by all accounts is an excellent guitar. For not a lot more than that you get in to Mexican Fenders, then high end Epis... beware of GAS! I've just found the build quality on Squire's to be a bit hit and miss (this is true of any guitar and the reason you or someone you know should play it before you buy it ideally), but the Pacificas have an excellent reputation as an entry level guitar for a good reason The cheaper Pacifica 012 will get you started but if you can stretch that bit more for a V series, do it! I do but like you I've fallen out of love with it. Been playing for 15 years, but with long breaks in that time. I probably play to the level of someone who has practised well for a couple of years! Classic rock and blues are my thing, favourite guitarists being Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Slash, Aynsley Lister, Keith Richards, Joe Perry... I could go on! Got all sorts of pedals that I rarely use since buying a Fender Champ X2, which is now my only amp. Guitars are a Gibson LP, Danelectro DC-59, a Yamaha EG112 (my first electric, pre-Pacifica but identical in all meaningful aspects, I heavily modded it with all black hardware, 13's, dual covered humbuckers, bolted bridge and custom electronics - it was intended for slide but I suck at slide!), an Epiphone Dove for when I feel like getting mellow and a little handmade baglamas the missus bought me in Greece one year. My problem is I have no patience. I want instant results! I have been thinking of getting one of the Rocksmith games recently to see if it renews my interest...

I upgraded the missus' laptop to Windows 7 Pro N over the weekend but it's complaining that the key is already in use (don't remember using it before but I may well have done...) Tried to buy her a new key but Microsoft very [un]helpfully only sell Windows 8 keys now. Is there anywhere online I can get a (legitimate) Windows 7 Pro N key any more? I know I can buy discs still but was hoping for just a key to keep costs down...

Nobody can tell you exactly what's happening here but I have to agree with @Garacesh here as I'm another one who has to break myself down completely before I can build back up again. When my Grandad died, I was destroyed. He was a father figure to me growing up and was always the one I'd turn to when I was in trouble. He never judged me, just supported me. We were very close. We found out about a year before he passed that he had cancer. He spent the last two weeks of his life in a hospice and I spent every day with him, including his last. Over the course of those two weeks, plus about 4 weeks following, I fell in to a deep depression that was not at all helped by the fact I had taken up drinking in a big way. It was a self-fulfilling prophecy; I felt worthless, and I made myself such by being in a constant state of numbness, confusion and drunken stupor. But there is a silver lining - my girlfriend (who I had already been with for about 4 years at the time) stuck by me through it, despite me trying to push her away. I felt worthless, convinced myself as such and so had it in my mind she was better off without me. Rather than tell her that, which would have given her the opportunity to tell me otherwise, I pushed her away so that it's be her choice to leave, thus "proving" she didn't really love me after all and that I was as worthless as I thought I was. But, she stuck around anyway. I can't remember exactly what triggered it, but eventually it hit me like a ton of bricks that I was destroying my life and that there was no way my grandad would have wanted that. I stopped drinking, apologised to everyone I had pushed away, and started to figure out my issues (I did this on my own but not because I'm afraid to seek help, just because it's not the first time I've been like that so have developed coping mechanisms over the years). I suppose what I'm trying to do here by revealing all this is to tell you that LeBF is probably feeling some similar emotions right now. I think it's how a lot of men work; when we feel vulnerable, we become stones. Hang in there though, he will get better and he'll love you all the more for having stood by his side in spite of all this. It will get better
