What settings did you enable in GP do you mind me asking?

Is anyone using the embedded ue-v client in Windows 10 Enterprise/Edu, trying to get it working but it not synchronising any settings. Windows 7 was a dream. Service is running I've also run the powershell command Enable-UEV which reported the service as running Double checked GPO settings but still nothing, just wondered if anyone else was using it to any success? Rob

I've just got the message though I can still see and apply settings for the clients on my servers......?

When will the Anniversary Update appear on the VLSC?

Don't remember is saying that before, must be a recent change perhaps? My installs inherit their settings from there server tab perfectly fine.
-
Currently have Avast on all my servers without issue. As always follow the exclusions guidelines and test first!
-
Not reducing features just some of the new ones are paid for only, which is fair enough.

Resolved Spoke to the right person as MS.

Thanks for your replies, I can go back to the Office 365 licence team and tell them I don't need to pay for access to Video and check which level we are on.
-
Is Office 365 Video free for schools, I'm getting conflicting information (Mainly from MS about this)? If it is enabled on your tenant, what plan are you on out of interest, at the moment we cannot access it. Cheers, Rob

Hope so as I havn't excluded them (No issues have arisen)

Default settings which on mine are; Self-extracting DOS exe Self-extracting Win32 exe NTFS streams Droppers

Running Avast fine of my 5 Hyper-V Cluster hosts with the correct exclusions as per MS. I use the wildcard *, I know it works as it was messing with my DPM mount points as I didn't have a * wildcard to exclude the whole directory, once it put this in all was fine so I know it definitely works for me....

I assume disabling all active scanning eases your problem? Do your disk queues balloon?
-
My understanding (which could be wrong!) is Active Protection was the always on scanning which is why I put the exclusions in there for the performance benefits and other "compatibility" issue prevention. I assumed the other excludes includes on-demand scans which might be useful if i suspect the system could be infected so didn't want anywhere to be excluded then if that was the case!

Settings Templates - Advanced View > Windows Server > File System Shield - Customize > Exclusions Does that make sense?
-
Ditto
-
Click Advanced view (top right) then goto Settings template ➡ Windows Server ➡ File System Shield (Customise)

Yes, I should have said I rolled out on some non-critical systems and gently expanded from there.
-
Yup, installed on all servers. (AD, SQL, Hyper-V, Exchange etc) I followed the usual Microsoft and third-party's software recommendations for AV exclusions and thus far has been working fine.
-
Yes rolling out the latest update to our clients has solved previous Win7 SMB issues. I just ran the silent installer again to perform the upgrade, will be doing that from now on. Rob
