Depends how involved you fancy getting but depending upon how the malware identifies 'internet' (one would imagine dns look up for external domain) you could have a static IP configured on the box, false gateway address and real DNS servers on your internal subnet should be enough to let it start it's stuff. Or you could let it fire up and 'get' internet access but then just firewall it from the router denying all traffic except DNS.

Back it up regularly, usb memory sticks have a finite life span and something like apache under xampp on a moderately busy site will be constantly writing logfiles.

You should point the tool at the history folder not try and go into it.

Where are you looking? I didn't let browsing history roam with my users so I used our auditing to identify the local machine they were using and dug through the cached profile.

Removing the graphics card and using the onboard one should be fine with a 550W PSU. Unplug the Graphics Card, BluRay and run on a single stick of RAM to see if it fires up. I don't think it's quite as straight forward as not enough juice if even with the card removed it won't fire up.

Hi folks, I'm at a loss on this one and all ideas are welcomed! I'm getting married soon and I figured rather than laying on disposable cameras on tables for guests to take pictures with and then with everyone these days having digital cameras, phones etc it makes no sense to not use those. I'm after a way to be able to give guests a url + pass phrase(of sorts) which allows them to upload their photographs and then I can collect them all together, pick the good ones and publish that 'album' to everyone with their pass phrase. There's a good chance I'm asking for too much but I would welcome any ideas you might have on how to achieve it. Thanks

I'd go with 2, higher cache and faster cpu. I guess you can't take some of the memory from 1 > 2 ? I'm not a SIMS expert though so I don't know whether you'd be better with slower cpu but more memory though.
