I'd be inclined to agree. Where are you getting the error? If it's on start up have a look in msconfig to see if its trying to load it on start up (but has been cleaned already)

Namecheap.com for 'non UK' domains for me.

Except for those of us who can and do get 50mbit from them whilst nobody has LLU'd the local exchange. EDIT: Also, you should find that the 20mbit rate limiting cap is 5mbit from my experience whereas the 10mbit one is 2mbit as you've seen might be worth a complaint in their direction to get that sorted. I'd never go back to ADSL, it's just too temperamental in my experience.

Thanks Will, not what I suspected the issue was.

Encountered this briefly on a customer site last week; as a matter of interest please check to see whether the BBC News links work or report the same unable to play this content message. (Specifically news, NOT iplayer).

"Manual Block" - Did they not think to yanno, inform you of this? -
I take it you don't have out of band management of the system to see what is happening here? I can run through a 8.04-LTS to 9.10 upgrade here in a VM if you want me to see if I get the same issues? Can you issue dpkg -l > blah.txt and PM/email me the content of this so I can be running the same apps you have.
-
Glad you've sorted it.

Not sure about using smtp.ntlworld.com outside of the ntl network, maybe you need to enable smtp auth or such like.

He is correct, it is to do with the Solaris system; specifically it is to do with the kiosk session configuration. Sounds very much like our menu that your colleague has seen.
