I don't actually have my auto sync daily because I didnt see the need. Its done once a month. The file either existed a good while back or I have created it myself from the one in the LDAPserver auth plugin. Its been well over a year since I set it up to work. That is the script I use to do a manual sync to.

Yes you will need to change your cronjob. No it has to be done with LDAP Capture im afraid, I believe it is LDAPCapture that gets the home drive details etc. The domain is literally just that, say I worked at Town High School and my domain was ths.local and my server was called Bob then in my config file I would have '\\Bob'=>'ths.local/Bob' May I suggest something else, try creating a new account totally, as in within Active Directory and setup the home drive etc. Then login to Moodle (for the first time) using this account, you will have to do the standard account details if it requests you to. Then try the block. The reason I say try a new account is because I have had problems with an account that was created (not through syncing) by logging in when I only had LDAPServer on, I got a blank folder.

My recommendation for testing and testing only, we gave our test user full control of the home folder and any folder that it was contained in, for example students. The user has to have permissions to transverse the folders. Are you users home drives set in AD via a server name or a domain.local DFS share?

I have '\\Servername' => 'domain.local/servername', If you have this and your content is still empty, then I would check permissions on the test home drive.

LED/ LCD is the same thing. LED is just the type of lighting on tv (usually side lit), and just LCD is only style lighting by tubes at the back. There are problems with every type of TV, LED/ LCD the older LCDs and the Plasmas. LED/ LCDs are thinner, lighter and use less energy, however suffer from problem getting really dark areas to work (especially next to a lighter patch), but give a better contrast in general and use less Energy. LCDs are similar to the LED/ LCDs (its in the name) but are bigger, use more energy and again have problems with some darker patches, as they cannot be dimmed properly. Plasma TVs, are meant to be better at getting "true" colours but are bigger and heavier then both and can struggle with fast moving objects, also not as many manufacturers anymore and you have to watch the number of pixels on them (a alot still arent full 1080p). They also need more energy. Decide what is most important to your parents, then find a TV then look for reviews of it. I have bought a TV recently and you find that 1 model in a range can suffer from some problems whereas, the lower or higher one didnt, thats technology for you! If your interested I opted for the now "out of date" technology of Plasma, because I simply didnt like the colour on the LED/ LCDs when they were displaying darker images (a lot of light bleed to). My decision was based on what I want it for, it doesnt have a VGA input, well I didnt want one, it only have 1 SCART, some people want or even need more. If your parents are happy with an older model, i.e the 2010 range, then go to Richer Sounds, they sell them cheap and if you want a warranty its 10% of purchase price for 5 years. Much better then Curries and Comet and the like (about £200). Consider if you need a warranty to, LED/ LCDs shouldnt really break, how often does a computer monitor break? PLasmas however I have heard can decide after 2 years that they are in fact broken, hence the warranty maybe better.

Err my HTC Desire HD has a proxy box now, since the latest updates. We run transparent proxy anyways but still droid does support proxies now. Edit: For all you guys with Android 2.3.3 and can't find your proxy. Its in "Settings" then "Wireless & Networks" then "Wifi Settings", on y HTC I have to hit the menu button and choose "Advanced" then I get a "Wifi Proxy" choice. I assume it works, I don't actually have to use it, but it is new.

I know this is a pain for some but I actually like it. I can orientate the board and then the staff cannot change the orientation and mess it up. It does save the orientation in the registry though I didnt think it was where you guys are claiming. I thought it was elsewhere (though our clients aren't 64bit).

If its not your fault, and it is clearly someone elses (they can investigate it) then your insurer shoudl pay for your stuff and go after your neighbour (or their insurer)for the money. Also ceiling don't really fall down from wear and tear. As for replacements, they usually offer you one (say a TV) but if it isnt as good as the one lost then you can say no. If your to much of a pain sometimes they just give you money and say "Buy your own bl00dy TV then!" but they might not give you as much. New for Old or Like for Like, usually means the same or better. This might mean they give you say a 42inch screen that is better then a 40inch, because this was cheaper and available etc. But as everyone has said I wouldn't worry, you'll get your stuff.

The microsoft anti-spam agent is actually pretty good. Your other choice is ofcourse a bought solution which may be relatively cheap as your anti-virus provider might be do one, though some don't or are just ridiculously priced.
