Need to slowly start replacing projectors in classrooms - the vast majority are ceiling mounted on poles. With budgets being squeezed - I'm assuming other people will be in a similar situation and wondered what make and model projector people are using/installing these days. Cheers

For those schools who have on-site email servers - what size mailboxes do you give staff? I currently set staff to 2GB and I'm now getting complaints they are having to delete emails older than 3 years. SLT are set to 6GB Am I being to tight with mailbox sizes? Cheers

Ok, been using DPM for over a year and had no issues. Recently I have 3 VMs which are not backing up due to Replica Inconsistent. (all other VMs are backing up fine) If I perform a consistency check while the VMs run then it fails but if I shut the VMs down and then perform a consistency check then all is fine until the next back up. 2 of the VMs are Server 2012r2 (DC and a member server holding shared docs etc). The other VM is running Ubuntu. DPM is on the latest version as is the agents on the hosts. VM Integration Services are also up to date. Any one come across this before?

That resolution is clearly out of range for now but in the future it may be achievable

Interesting issue with the ads, install beta app over existing app and could see the ads. Removing and reinstalling seemed to cure it.

Finance weren't happy with the billing arrangements so at the end of the trial period I have to cancel it which is a shame as it worked nicely.

Just been looking at the HP 2530-48G non-poe version and I am a little confused as the spec Ive seen mentions 4xSFP (1GB fibre) but further on in the details it mentions SFP+ (10GB Uplinks) Is this native or a add on module?

That is exactly how I have my start menus configured for Windows 7 and works fine. Just a bit of a pain having to maintain two sets of shortcuts.

I have a strange issue with 1 student account that cannot login to HAP. When they try and login the get the following message - "Either your Username or Password was Incorrect or you do not have permission to access this site." Ive changed the password - checked permisions/groups etc but still no joy. IIS logs show the IP address trying to connect but no error message that I can see - the username isn't even being recorded unlike account which do successfully login. Any idea?

Sorry to hijack this thread - but it is slightly related in that I'm also looking to replace an old 3com switch with either Netgear or HP. Current network is a mixture of HP and Netgear already. Looking to future proof the switch ready for rolling out 10G fibre to the switch that is linked via 1GB copper at the moment. I am looking at either: Netgear GS728TX (S3300-28X) - Approx £400 Comes with 2x10gb Copper and 2xSFP+ ports Bandwidth 128gbps or HP 2530-24G-2SFP+ Switch J9856A - Approx £800 Comes with 2xSPF+ ports only Throughput : 65.4 Mpps ¦ Switching capacity : 88 Gbps Both are 24 port switches (replacing switch which has less than 15 connections)

By the time the full month ended the true cost approx. £80. The process for DPM to Azure is fairly straight forward, the Azure bit more or less tells you what you need to do. On the trial I did, I opted for Geo-Redundant option - the Local Redundant is much cheaper - as they move your data between servers in that data center instead of bouncing between data centers in Europe. Once you select your redundancy option you cannot change it unless you start again. Hope that helps

hmm interesting..... If I run Disconnect-Shares.ps1 manually with a username it works perfectly but if it runs as a command from FSRM it only disconnects the server the files are found on.

I seem to be having the same issue - will only disconnect the server the files are found. I've added the other servers in the invoke command but still no joy. @clockend25 did you managed to resolve this?
