Thank you I have already got the IIS, PHP, MySQL installed as I figured would be best for LDAP connections and NTFS permissions etc.

Not quite sure where to put this so please move if needed. I have 3 Hyper-V hosts all running Server 2012r2 with Intel X520-DA2 cards. At some point over the weekend the VMs on my 3rd Host migrated off that server due to a NIC issue. Looking at the NIC settings all Hyper-V Nics (Management, Live Migration, Cluster, Etc) have reverted to DHCP - no idea why as no updates have be applied. The other 2 hosts are fine. This is where it gets strange..... The management vNIC has picked up a DHCP but the other vNICs say DHCP assigned BUT they have retained their statically assigned IP Addresses I set the vNICs back to static and enter the IP details and when I look at the Server Management details they have reverted back to DHCP assigned Anyone any ideas?

If you have noodle you can use the SMB block plugin http://moodle.org/plugins/block_smb_web_client. It allows access to shares such has shared drives/home folders.

I've only just installed Nagios and got the printer monitoring up and running so I'll shutdown that VM and spin up a new VM and give Icinga2 a try.

Having a play with Nagios and have it monitoring all my printers and so far so good. I'm thinking of adding my Servers to Nagios by installing the Windows client NClient+ Before I do - are there any reasons why I shouldn't install NClient+ Cheers :-)

Just double checked and on the Summary settings - it was set to This is a greyscale printer (disable colour detection.......) I have changed it to -The is a colour printer (use page-level detection) The Filtering/Restrictions tab - I have it set to Convert colour jobs to greyscale for all users. If I could grab a copy of your script that would be great :-)

We have a number of Sharp MFD/Copiers around school which I have 2 Virtual Print Queues running - Mono & Colour. We use follow me printing so they can release from any device. They use the same driver but the mono queue is supposed to convert all jobs for all users to greyscale. Students only get the mono print queue - they are mot allowed to print in colour. Recently we have noticed they have been bypassing the greyscale restriction and printing colour! They open the printer properties and change from mono to colour and hey presto it prints in colour regardless of the settings within papercut. For this particular copier - I have also set a restriction on the actual printer within papercut to convert any jobs for Students to Greyscale but this has no affect. Any one any ideas how to stop this or why papercut is ignoring the restriction. Cheers

How do you stop student access to photocopier functions on MFDs. I've tired but I block everyone from using copier functions that device.

Bought Division for Xbox one for £20 - must say I'm liking it at the moment.

We currently have the display name set as the username and has been like that since my arrival so I carried this on (made sense at the time) Staff are now starting to mention how they are finding hard to find students within exchange. I'm thinking of changing the Student display name to show (Student) "Full Name" How have other people got Display Names? Cheers
